Another obvious first ballot Hall of Famer is Ray Lewis. People still question his involvement and civil settlement in a double murder back in 2000, but at least he seemed to learn from that and wasn’t a perennial pain in the ass. Whatever he did, whether he was just hanging with the wrong crowd and got lumped in, or actually had a role, he did change his ways.

On D, we have to consider Brian Urlacher too. First ballot? Maybe not. But, the dude was a stud back in the day.

TO should've made it already.

I agree TO should be in already. He might have been a pain in the ass, but it was always football related. He wasn’t out gang banging or beating women or sexually assaulting women.

Yeah Urlacher will get in, for sure. It seems a lot less common for defensive players, or offensive line players, to get in on the first ballot.

Are there any kickers or punters in the Hall of Fame? I can think of several kickers who should be in.

Ray Guy probably

So as far as I could find, Ray Guy is the only Punter in the Hall of Fame, and these are the only Kickers:

Morten Andersen
George Blanda (Also QB)
Lou Groza (Also T)
Jan Stenerud

Those seem to be undervalued positions, IMO.

I don’t think so. Warner has a 93.7 passer rating, a 65.5% completion percentage and 2 NFL MVPs.

Eli is a bit of an iron man. He made 210 consecutive starts.

He beat the GOAT in Tom Brady twice in the SB, he beat Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers in the playoffs.

I wouldn't be suprised to see one more run. Perhaps he goes to Denver next year.
