US not in the World Cup

Think soccer's dull? Imagine a game where you play for a minute or less, then stop and spend three minutes getting ready to play for another 45 or 60 seconds. After doing that four times everyone goes to the sidelines while three or four minutes of commercials plays, then two other teams come out and do it again in the other direction.
Now, that's dull.

I prefer baseball, but sport-to-sport comparisons are matters of taste, not intrinsic quality. My problem with soccer has been that it's the only sport which rewards the faking of injuries.

The Italians are the worst. They don't dive like that in Scotland but I've watched my team, Celtic, play AC Milan, for example, and it was embarrassing. I'm sure those teams have a drama coach on staff.
