TopCat is claiming that since the Seahawks say that they did not know what kind of money K wanted before they went so far as to schedule a workout just for him that he needs to believe them, even though that story makes little sense, and my thesis makes a lot of sense.

But see I was raised to never be a chump, I dont trust what I am told by power, I investigate and think for myself.

Seems to be a dying bit of sanity in America Today from what I can tell.
