NBA 2017-18 Season

I dont think Melo is willing to acknowledge being the thrid best player on his team and willing to take a 3rd options share of the usage, along with high usage rates for PG and Westbrook its going to be a fight for the ball and Westbrook will turn back into the guy he was with KD just jacking up bad shots just to get his in.

PG will not be a problem. Melo is a good team guy when he is surrounded by talent. He was a good Olympian.

PG is absolutely a team player but his raw talents will get him a bit of usage on its own as for Melo the Thunder is not the Olympic team or anywhere near it.

Melo knows he's near the end. I think he'll behave.

I'm curious to see how Westbrook responds. He's not exactly one of those pass first type point guards.

It is hard to evaluate Carmelo because when Phil Jackson was hired, he did everything in his power to make the Knicks into a laughing stock.

By hiring a coach that was not qualified in Derek Fisher, having said not qualified coach run a triangle offense that is difficult to run, and by gutting the roster.

I see Melo motivated in OKC. At minimum, he will not want to go down as a joke.

Two old guards with shot knees and can't shoot.....

Wait until your new young guard shows you how shot his knees are.

Thomas is out until Jan.

Wade need to come off the bench and shouldn't average more than 24 min a game. If they save him, they can use him and play him a lot more during the playoffs.

Rose will start at pg until then. Should be interesting to see.

When you win a title in Dallas you are set for life, Romo wont be getting free meals anytime soon

Romo apparently is a better commentator than QB. I hear he's hitting it out of the park in the booth.

It's apparently in the rules of conduct. Silver gets an A for being on top of it. Goodell gets an F.

It was in the NBA rules long before Silver ever got involved with the NBA. It will be interesting to see what happens if there is a protest in the NBA. I mean with all the "support" for it in the NFL its hard to see why people wouldnt support an NBA player just because of NBA rules. So I wouldnt give him an A just yet.

Goodell certainly does get an F, when it was just Kaep he was hoping it would blow over and it didnt. He should have had the owners vote right then to change the rules that everyone should stand.

I buy this completely.

Derrick Rose no longer 'in dark place' playing 'revenge basketball,' happy with Cleveland Cavaliers

"I get to play my game," Rose said. "Before I made it to the league I think I was a facilitator. The NBA made me into a scorer. I had to score my first year with the Bulls, and I think you'll be able to see my passing abilities once I'm here. My job is to facilitate, be aggressive at the same time, be a threat always when I get the ball."

You bet, Derick. Dish it to Lebron, JR, KLove and Kyle Korver. That's all you need to do in Cleveland.

 the NBA turned him into a chucker, sure buddy whatever you have to tell yourself

15 ppg and 5 assists when he played at Memphis. So, he's probably telling the truth.

Rose shot 1 shot per 2.67 minutes in college vs 1 per 2.06 minutes in the pros not that big of a difference when you consider the 35 second shot clock in college vs 24 seconds in the pros
