The most liberal campus in Texas is overrated at 23

And yet, somehow they're rated ahead of all the conservative campuses.
Darn liberal football coaches!!

Even though my team (Arizona) is going to suck big time I'm excited for the season.

I don't know of any conservative schools that play football

Nice! Both my teams are in the top 10, Ohio State and Washington!

This season is starting with a HHHHUUUUUUGGGGE bang.

Opening game for both. September 2nd:

#1 Alabama vs #3 FSU
Neutral field in Atlanta.

OH
My
GAAAAWWWWWD!

Nice! Both my teams are in the top 10, Ohio State and Washington!

Buckeyes are my #3 in Division IA. First college game I ever went to. Dad got his doctorate there when I was a toddler.

UGA is #15. They will finish higher than that. One of the top defenses from last year is returning almost the whole starting defense. And the schedule isn't too rough for an SEC team.

Hopefully it's a better game than last years opener.

A couple of interesting games opening weekend.

Ohio St vs Indiana in a opening game in conference. Michigan/Florida, Texas A&m/UCLA, and W Virginia/Virginia Tech.

Who to pull for...

OSU for sure
****ing Michigan is going to make me pull for goddamn florida uuuugghhh
T A&M vs UCLA Could give a **** less
WVA vs VT... Go Mountaineers! Head coach is a former Valdosta State coach so... his my guy there.

Clearly. We did did get some votes though.

Last year was rough for you guys so... I hope you can at least show some growth from that.

We'll see. We had a **** ton of injuries last year. My concern this year is we're not very big along the defensive front. We're not going to be able to stop a lot of teams.

sounds like my lobos for the last few years. Offense scores 50... defense allows 63.

Oh yeah. I remember you telling me all about that last year. Hopefully that allowed you all to redshirt them for another year of eligibility.

How about the secondary?

We were ranked #115 in D last year. I'm not convinced we'll be much better this year. However, we did just hire Chuck Cecil a coach so.......

Our secondary will be good but when you can run for a first down on 3rd and 10............

I think the lobos are picked to be 85th out of all D1A teams. Also picked to finish 5th out of 6 in their conference division. They keep getting under rated in preseason. They were predicted 100 and something last year and picked to end 5th of 6 and ended up 9-4 and tied for first in the whole conference and went on to win their bowl game. Hope they can do at least that again this year.

Being a west coast guy I think the Mountain West is an under-rated conference. It's more than just the Broncos.

Colorado State has a 2nd year head coach in Bobo who was UGA's old QB and more recently offensive coach/play caller. I think he'll do well there. San Diego St. Seems to be up and coming as well. And Wyoming... they are hot one year cold the next. Kind of weird.
