I know it's a money spinner and will probably be a circus but I can't wait to watch it unfold lol. Those press conferences will be gold.

Floy Mayweather will embarass Conor McGregor. McGregor is no boxer. McGregor fans are fooling themselves if they think he can even compete with Mayweather in a boxing match.

I agree but it just takes one lucky punch. Mcgregor has nothing to lose he's 0-0 in boxing and annoys to get paid more money than Anthony Joshua

The only way McG wins is if it's fixed. Now, if they let him go UFC while Floyd boxed, it would be a toss up--perhaps with an edge to Conner. But, if CM is forced to box traditional, and if the fight is legit, he's toast.

Hell, I'm not even sure Conner can traditional-box. I mean think about it. He's a MMA kind of dude. Once he gets in a jam, once hurt or tired and his reptilian brain kicks in, he just might throw a roundhouse to Floyd's head. That might be the draw, right there.
 
It is not boxing nor is it MMA so what is it? This says a lot about boxing which used to be very popular. How many rounds can McGregor go if he has never gone more than 5? Should Mayweather just dodge him for 5-6 rounds? Think about this; the payroll for this is embarrassing and what if there is a knock out in the first round? Next up: Larry David vs. Whoopi Goldberg. What a pathetic joke and the participants and promoters are laughing at any jerk that pays $125 to watch it.
 
Since they will be using boxing rules and boxing gloves. This fight is so stupid. There is no way for McGregor to have any type of an advantage. Ill be waiting to see how the fight ends. It will be a Mayweather victory regardless. Im just interested if McGregor can last a full boxing fight with out being gassed.

The press conferences are where most of the action will occur.
Can't blame either fighter for accepting a yuuuge payday.

This is true.
If the match rules would have allowed some MMA style fighting, I would have given McGregor a shot.
In a straight boxing match, Conor has no chance.

You know, if I thought McGregor might actually start kicking Mayweather in the head, I'd pay for the fight.
It would be worth it.
 
They should have made it a three fight deal...boxing, then MMA, then a coin flip.

This probably wont be pretty.

They should have matches back to back.

Boxing first since its unlikely anyone will get injured with those heavy gloves.

I have heard a little smacktalk. Macgregor is the king of smack talk hype. then they will hug and carry bags of cash to the bank.
 
Floyd will win most likely, unless Connor does something unexpected...

BUT

An MMA fighter will beat a boxer in boxing decades before a boxer beats and MMA fighter in the UFC.
 
Mayweather vs. The Sheik is next.
 
Mayweather is 40 and hasn't really knocked anyone out in 10 years. I think if McGregor is able to get into Mayweather he could make it happen. Floyd is smart enough to dodge and point against real boxers but will fighting this non-boxer finally bring his ego to the ring?

Brings up a point. Will McG even be able to go 12 rounds? UFC is only 3-round bouts. Dude probably never fought more than that in his life.
