Yes, the 2018 season build up is alive and kicked, teams using franchise tags, trades and hauling in Free agents left right and center.

Day one saw:

Desean Jackson goes bucs

Russell Okung went to the Chargers

The viking nabbed Riley Reiff

Denver got Ronald Leary

The Saints got Larry Warford

Dwayne Allen goes to the Patriots

Stephon Gilmore goes to the Patriots

Browns get Brock Osweiler

Alshon Jeffery to the Philadelphia Eagles

Kenny Britt to the Cleveland Browns

A.J. Bouye to the Jacksonville Jaguars

Johnathan Cyprien to the Tennessee Titans

Calais Campbell to the Jacksonville Jaguars

Brandon Williams Re-Signs with the Baltimore Ravens

Tony Jefferson to the Baltimore Ravens

Andrew Whitworth to the Los Angeles Rams

Kevin Zeitler and JC Tretter to the Cleveland Browns

Nick Perry Re-Signs with the Green Bay Packers

Mike Glennon to the Chicago Bears

Matt Kalil to the Carolina Panthers

Robert Woods to the Los Angeles Rams

Dre Kirkpatrick Re-Signs with the Cincinnati Bengals

Chris Baker to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Micah Hyde to the Bills

Torrey Smith to the Eagles

Alan Branch re-signs with the Patriots

Ted Ginn Jr. to the Saints

Steven Hauschka to the Bills

Day 2 of the Free agency:

Logan Ryan to Tennessee Titans

Martellus Bennett to Green Bay Packers

John Simon to Indianapolis Colts

Matt Barkley to San Francisco 49ers

Prince Amukamara to Chicago Bears

Terrelle Pryor to Washington Redskins

Lawrence Timmons to Miami Dolphins

Kony Ealy to New England Patriots

Brandin Cooks to New England Patriots

Jabaal Sheard to Colts

Julius Peppers to Carolina Panthers

Mike Adams to Carolina Panthers

Mike Remmers to Minnesota Vikings

Menelik Watson to Denver Broncos

I know, I am a Patriots fan but this is again silly season in the NFL.

Stephon Gilmore
Duron Harmon
Dwayne Allen
Kony Ealy
Lawrence Guy
Brandin Cooks

OK Bennett is gone and so are a few others, but Cooks, Ealy and Gilmore are great people to add to the team and Dwayne Allen as a replacement for Bennett also ain't half bad.

Looks like I'll have to suffer another piss poor season of Da-Bears :2razz:

I used to love the Bears in the years of Mike Ditka and the Perry but sadly a once great team has been in a steady decline, but hope springs eternal and I hope for their fans, the Bears will find their way up in the rankings again. But sadly so far the off season is off to a rocky start for them.

One of the people released was RG3, a quarterback that went from promising QB to being released by Cleveland browns. The worst performing team in the NFL thinks they can do better with someone other than RG3 (and most likely that is a reasonable assumption) but whether or not Brock Osweiler is that player also is a bit dubious IMHO. Especially if they let players like Pryor go to greener pastures.

Especially seeing that the Texans offense only put on 279 points compared to the 264 from the Browns. It was the defense of the Texans that gave them the top spot in their nook of the division, not their "stellar " offense.

Bengals look to suck in 2017. Not sure what 2018 will bring though.

I'd like to see the Texans finally put that killer D to good use and land themselves a Romo to help their offense score a few touchdowns.

Can anyone tackle the Pats in the AFC Least? I sort of doubt it.

Rams will suck for two more years. And, I expect the 49ers will not be much better.

Lions challenging the Pack would be nice to see in 2017. Bears putting it together by 2018? Maybe, but I doubt it.

Browns challenging the Steelers is a real possibility, but I would not bet on it.

Titans should be good, but I worry that Mariota might be brittle. That leg he broke did not exactly result from a Theisman like hit.

Raiders! Yeah, I think they'll challenge the Broncos and Chiefs.

Cowboys? Hard to say. I can see Prescott coming down to earth and Eli giving it one last hurrah in 17 or 18.

Falcons? Maybe they can be the first team in awhile not to suffer a post Super Bowl loss hangover.
