Nfl 2017 [W:1941,2227]

It doesn't matter who represents the NFC division. The Patriots will win, Brady will get ring 6. The only team that worries me is the Vikings.

The Lions slapped the Vikings down twice. And AP's gone too.

That's not much of an accomplishment when the end result is the same choke job from Matty Ice when he melts.

My Saints suck and I know it. But they're still my team and I love em more than I love you.

We'll see what happens next year. I wouldn't be surprised if we come away with the championship. We lost the SB because of our ego maniac offensive coordinator, not Matt Ryan. We have the best offense in the league, the MVP, and the best wide receiver in the game. Along with a defense that will only get better and better.

And I can respect that. Same with me, except for my Falcons, and my hatred of the Saints, runs deep.

He had a good fourth quarter. But, it won't last forever.

Your hackishness in these sports threads is quite unendearing, you know. It's one thing to be a fan, but this, is quite annoying.

I'm one of the few on this forum that speak the truth. I don't get my talking points from the fake news media or blind emotions.

The Patriots weren't lucky, they were the better team.

This time last year it was the Carolina Panthers saying "Wait til next year!!!"

Defeats like the one the Falcons suffered can be brutal. If they bounce back...good for them. It will say a lot about their character as a team.

You know what SHOULD scare the rest of the league is this. Brady had the PERFECT scenario to ride off into the sunset. Mannings exit was ideal...but this...5th Superbowl, amazing comeback win, legacy cemented as the GOAT...

and he wants more.

That should have pretty much everyone in the NFC battling over who will lose to the Patriots in the Superbowl next year.

He's going to hit a wall eventually.

And I think he is smart enough to know that and will stop playing before he reaches that point. I certainly hope so.

I wish him luck, but I fear he will be carted off one day with a serious injury like the two Joes, Theisman and Montana.

that would be a shame.

Now there is talk of Adrian Peterson going to the Patriots. If that happens it would make for a very strong air and ground game and really free up the Patriots to financially shore up their o-line and defense.

Sounds like Adrian is getting wise in his old age. Joining the Patriots certainly did wonders for Corey Dillon at the end of his career. Oucho Cinco not so much.

Randy Moss? He sure did have that one monster year.

Cooks and Peterson would give us that x factor

Back in the day...

Today that would be a flag, for sure.

Think about that for a second. AP as your primary RB, They have a healthy Gronk AND a healthy Bennett at TE. Edelman at WR and Hogan who looks like he is becoming a solid WR2. They could upgrade from Amendola at WR3. Brady throwing the ball. Gostkowski as your insurance policy at kicker.

That would make for a pretty potent offense, provided the O-Line gets beefed up.

No doubt. He led with his head. With the regularity that occurs, its a wonder more people don have neck injuries and it isnt shocking why there are so many concussions.

cam doesn't think so ... and with good reason to feel that way

There's a clip showing what the Giants of the 80's did to QB's all around the league. Well worth a look-see.

Here's one I like better though

Biggest hit of 1985

The Browns are offering their first round pick to the Patriots for Jimmy G. That however is not enough. They will need to give up two first round picks.

Looking at teams drafting in the top ten I think the Bears are nuts for not offering the #3 pick for Jimmy G. What a steal for a franchise qb.

The Browns are stupid to offer a first for JG. Let NE keep him and lose him next year when he becomes an unrestricted free agent. But, knowing a loser franchise like the Browns, they will probably make a stupid trade like that.
