Although it has lightened up today, the Daily Mail has been among the UK publications that have crucified Beckham over the past several days. In one of his e-mails, he called the Honours folks the c-word, and it's been shown that he's a diva who doesn't like to spend his own money.

From Mic.com:

Anybody interested in hearing more about emails? If so, you have come to the right place. David Beckham, the world-renowned footballer (soccer), businessman, fashion icon and husband to Posh Spice, is now embroiled in an email controversy, which the media has dubbed "Beckileaks." The allegedly leaked emails reportedly paint the historically charitable star in an extremely unfavorable light.

According to the Independent, a website dubbed Football Leaks released emails allegedly from Beckham, which seem to indicate that the international superstar's philanthropy has been for the purpose of attaining knighthood. https://mic.com/articles/167824/david-beckham-email-scandal-what-is-beckileaks-all-about#.acgJjEnwP

(yawn)

Although I think the knighthood is complete bollocks ( don't get a castle etc anymore) I do agree with Beckham that it's a bit embarrassing that he hasn't got one yet.
Andy Murray and Mo Farah got awarded knighthoods this year and they do far less charitable work and have done far less for British sport than Beckham has.

But I don't feel sorry for Beckham, he's a multi millionaire, ex sports star who's married to a spice girl.

Whats a "source girl"?

My only questions from that article are: does Posh Spice still look good and did she smile in 2016 even once?

I don't feel sorry for Beckham; he wrote the e-mails. But I've been astonished by the savagery of the attacks on him. David Beckham's feet are definitely clay  | Daily Mail Online
