Nba 2017

Kyrie can score but his defense is not good and he definitely is not going to average 10 assists

I think he's about a 5-assist guy right now, and his D is only noticeable in playoff games. Scottie Pippen he is not.

The Cavs run the entire offense through LeBron, who is basically a point forward, so no, Irving is never going to average 10 assists in that offense.

I don't think there's anyone else in the league who can hit someone for open shots like LeBron does. I remember seeing a cross court pass the other night that I thought now way would that not go out of bounds

This is one of the best passes I have ever seen in the NBA.

Al Star Weekend and the week of no NBA games is great. It gives me a chance to reconnect with hockey. So far, I've seen three really good NHL games since the last Cavs win on Wednesday night. And, that is a good thing.

The Kings are a complete mess. Good for Boggie Cousins.

This is the same team that traded Isaiah Thomas after averaging 20 PPG for essentially nothing. They maybe worse than the Cleveland Browns.
There was a brief moment, back when Chris Weber was in his prime, that the Kings looked like just maybe turned a corner. But, I guess they turned right into an oncoming bus.

The Browns just might give Belichick the top pick for Garafalo. You should enjoy that. I know Bill will.

Another game without LeBron that the Cavs lose to an average team by almost 20. This time the Bulls, 117 to 99. He's clearly the most valuable player in the league. No one else takes a lottery team to the finals. No one.

Lebron comes back; Cavs win. Amazing how that happens.

Kyrie plays like an all star again: 29 points and, more importantly, 9 dimes. Derrick Williams and Kyle Korver go into double figures again, both draining key threes when the game was on the line. Jefferson plays like he's 29 again, and Thompson looks like he's an elite player again, scoring key buckets off Kyrie's misses and dishes.

I'm convinced. There is no doubt. LBJ is for real. Best player in the league by a mile.

ESPN reporting that Kevin Durant is out 4 to 6 months after hyperextending his knee.

Playoffs begin. Time to see if the Cavs' meltdown since March carries over into the postseason or if James and Company turn on the heat and play some good ball when the games actually matter.

Looks like the Spurs are the only home team to show up for the playoffs as they dismantle Memphis. Cavs barely beat the Pacers, and Bucks upset the Raptors.

The Cavs won. I don't expect much trouble from Indiana or Toronto.

Lebron is a dominate force. He's on a run unseen before in the NBA. 6 straight NBA finals. Jordan, Kobe, Bird, Magic, none of them did that.

So far so good. But, I can see him getting older, lost a half a step. He's still big and strong enough to play bully ball. But, the days when he can just blow past everyone with speed are behind him.

To be fair. None of them had as consistently weak a conference as the East has been the last 6 years either.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the year the streak ends, as the Cavs have been massively struggling lately and didn't look any better in Game 1. But the East looks terrible again as well, and the Celtics are probably the worst 1 seed in the history of the NBA, so the Cavs could easily make it back to the Finals.

He's a well conditioned athlete that has at least 5 prime years ahead of him. He needs to contact Tom Brady asap and get his avocado ice cream recipe.

I would bet a fairly substantial sum that Lebron will be well below his prime at age 37.
