Well, I heard the Da Bears signed Tilman and that Julius Peppers was released and now has signed with GB.

Guess we will now see Peppers putting that sack and hit on Cutler.

On another Note.....Hossa is back from his Lower Body Injury. So hopefully the Hawks can get back to playing some hockey.

So Freo are looking good at the start of the season with their thrashing of Collingwood. And the same can be said of Port and Richmond. But the game I'm looking forward to is the 'Dons vs. Roos this Friday night, it promises to be a good game, even though I go for Essendon, I think North Melbourne might come out ahead.

Heya Spud. :2wave: Is that how to Speak Australian.

Well I heard the Hawks beat Detroit tonight 4-1.....huh? That's always a good thing. Missed the whole game too.

Good news.....my worked called and I only have to head out to one Distributorship in Indiana. Wish they would have called me earlier today to let me know. At least we didn't get the snow like they thought we were going to. Bout time I get a short night.

I say we string 'm up.

Heya Eco......did Miami drop Martin and Incognito?

Yes. Got a 7th round pick for Martin. It's all they could do, as simply releasing him would have been a cap hit.

Kinda disappointed that I'm the only one stoked for March Madness. Pissed that Michigan drew Duke for a Sweet 16 fight.

Yeah, I don't think the pills charges will stick.

They could. He admits to pain med addiction in the past, so it wouldn't shock me to know he had a few dozen vikes on him.

Yeah, but if he has a legal prescription.....despite his abuse. Just because he had them in the car. Wont get the book thrown at him. Be something if had baggies filled with them. More than likely they will hook for the drunk driving.

So you were saying none are into the College B-Ball around here.....I don't get into that sport much.

Booze is legal. Driving on it isn't. Therefore, even if the pain meds were legal (which I don't think they are, since he had no surgeries recently that I'm aware of) it wouldn't absolve him from driving on them.

And yeah, overall DP isn't very sports-inclined. Lots of pasty-faces here, and some people here who think soccer is a sport.

Yeah, that's true I didn't think they might try and hook him up for being under the pills influence.

Well this is a good idea then.....as peeps don't have to throw up a thread for 3 or 4 posts.

Yankees rotation is looking better than I hoped.

Tanaka is turning out to be the real deal, Pineda looks like he could be the comeback kid, CC looks like he's going to be anywhere between stellar and El Stinko (per usual), Kuroda looks like he's on track and Nova is looking solid. Barring something tragic it looks like the BP is going to have a pretty easy year.

Our bats aren't booming yet but we thumped Boston today so it's all good.

Meanwhile, down here in Tucson we're looking forward to a solid tournament from the Cats. They shouldn't have any problems before the Elite 8 where I've got them playing Oregon. Assuming they beat Oregon I've got them against Michigan in the Final Four and then with a 72-64 win over Florida for the Championship.

I had Oregon going to the 2nd weekend last year (one of the moves that made my bracket look like gold), but I don't see them doing much this year. I have them beating BYU, but that's as far as they go on my bracket.

I would post my brackets, but it doesn't look like it's garnering enough support on DP, so why bother.
