How 'bout them Cowboys!!

As, you know my basketball team is the Charlotte horners. if you were to place it in your avatar, commit to it, you will see them reflect, for example, your input in debates. if you are not a winner, they will start losing. i mean, in the pst, it was so stupid to call teams before a match. if you commit to it, the results will be like, well, teaching a child and seeing them write an exam. i think this is how it works? i know that the hornets won last night, but, for some reason, if i watch them they won't play well, pressure?

Try it! why not? be advised the more people that do this for the same team will even out the 'booster pack!'

lol, I heard on the radio that the Browns will be starting their third string QB for the final game---for the fifth straight year

For all those into basketball.....Anthony Mason of the NY Knicks has died at age 48. He always gave the Bulls a game and that was with Jordan.

Anthony Mason, a muscular, bellicose forward whose bruising play helped the Knicks reach the National Basketball Association finals in 1994, died early Saturday morning in Manhattan. He was 48. Mason’s death was confirmed by Jonathan Supranowitz, a spokesman for the Knicks. Don Cronson, Mason’s longtime agent, said that Mason was at NYU Langone Medical Center on Feb. 6 when he experienced congestive heart failure and that he had remained there until his death at 2:26 a.m. on Saturday.....snip~

Minnie Minoso, Helped Integrate Baseball With White Sox, Dies at 89.....

Minnie Minoso, the hugely popular All-Star outfielder from Cuba who was the major leagues’ first black player out of Latin America and a treasured figure in the history of the Chicago White Sox, died on Sunday in Chicago. His true age was never entirely clear, but by an account in his autobiography, he would have been 89 when he died.

His death was announced by the White Sox. He was found dead in his parked car. His son Charlie Rice-Minoso told The Chicago Tribune that his father had a pacemaker and that the cause of death was believed to be a heart ailment. Minoso was returning from a friend’s birthday party when he evidently became ill and pulled over, The Tribune said.....snip~

Serena Wins Wimbledon now if she wins the US Open. She will be the first since Steffi Graff in 88. First woman over 30 to win a Grand Slam title in the open era too.

Federer plays tomorrow.

Serena Williams overcame a slow start, eight double-faults and a nervy finish to beat Garbine Muguruza 6-4, 6-4 on Saturday for her sixth Wimbledon title, fourth Grand Slam championship in a row and 21st major overall.

The win means Williams holds all four Grand Slam titles at once -- completing the second "Serena Slam" of her career. What's more, she secured the third leg of a calendar-year Grand Slam and, if she wins the U.S. Open, will become the first player to sweep all four majors in the same season since Steffi Graf in 1988.

Williams, winning her 28th straight Grand Slam match, is now just one major title behind Graf on the Open era list and two behind all-time leader Margaret Court Smith.....snip~

Don't they test them before the grand slam matches? I see Federer lost again.

They tested Lance at every stage. Right?

They are already polling on if Serena is The Best of the Best in Womens Tennis. She will be the New Record holder and the One that others will need to surpass, to be considered the best of the best.

Besides many women peak in their 30s. Or so they say. :2razz:

Pro Football Hall of Famer Frank Gifford dies at age 84.....

Most middle-aged football fans might remember Frank Gifford best for being part of one of the most famous broadcasting teams in sports history, but long before that he was one of the most versatile players the NFL has ever seen. He was a Pro Football Hall of Famer for his great career with the New York Giants.

Gifford died Sunday morning at age 84. The family announced the news and it was reported by multiple outlets, including NBC's "Today" show, of which Gifford's wife Kathie Lee Gifford is still a co-host.

Gifford was an All-American at USC, playing offense and defense. He was a first-round pick by the Giants in 1952, and in 1953 he played both sides of the ball. He eventually settled into a great career on offense as a halfback and later on, as a flanker. He was the UPI's choice for NFL MVP in 1956. Four times he was named first-team All-Pro. He made eight Pro Bowls, at defensive back, halfback and flanker. He played for the Giants from 1952-60, then came out of retirement to play with the Giants from 1962-64.....snip~

How 'bout them Cowboys!!

Now I know this place hasn't been updated in awhile. 2014 was a good season. That was the year I actually went to 3 Cowboys games including their playoff win against the Lions.

I didn't go to any games last season. :(

Anyway, this place looks like it could use some remodeling. I say we make it completely silver and blue.

Just wait. I will call upon my long suffering, Cowboys supporting brethren (all two of them) to descend upon this thread and all will know that this, THIS is Cowboy country.

I see a red sash, I kill the man wearing it...!

Cowboys should be good this season, just worried about the defense and Dak against top defenses.
