Mom's suffer emotional trauma sometimes.:)

Not at 157. Nolf is a beast. The final was last night with Hidlay.

165 is intriguing with that freshman. We’ll see if paint dries at 174.

My wife and I saw him win it in 2015 in St. Louis. I saw him win it in 2014 in Oklahoma City. He did have good nonverbal actions; carried himself well. And a good single leg. He’s still wrestling international.

He is a good friend of my daughter who played soccer at NC State. When she torn her ACL he was very supportive.

Yes, he lost to a Russian recently, took bronze. (as I recall, don't hold me to it)

It’s that time again. You probably saw that Penn State lost to Arizona State, with Iowa taking over as the new #1.

Lots of high school megaduals this weekend here for tomorrow. I’m going to one of them.

Rasheed at 184 was out for PSU and they forfeited against Valencia. PSU has pulled the red shirt of freshman Brooks at that weight. So Rasheed is out for the year. You never know. Intermat is where I go for rankings.

It's been awhile.
I'm passing on our HS state meet this year.
Too many other things going on.
I'll just be attending some of the larger tournaments this year.
Hope things are going well for you.

343,000 viewers on BTN — new record for most watched college wrestling on BTN — Iowa beat Penn State 19-17. Major upset at 174 with Kemerer beating Hall. I call them the Pennsylvania/Illinois Hawkeyes — 5 wrestlers from PA and 3 from IL —

Several great articles are up on intermat that are well worth your time. BTN and BTN+ schedule up. Division One is in Minneapolis in a football stadium so tickets shouldn’t be a problem. I can’t go this year as you know. My blood pressure skyrockets during great matches. Things are about as good as they can be.

I don't know if a huge stadium is the best idea. It's nice to be able to accommodate so many fans, but the distances from the mats might not be ideal for spectators. Better bring the binoculars.

I haven't checked out the results yet.
I'm guessing Iowa won.
HS championships later this week.
Our local school had a sophomore qualify.
Pretty big accomplishment for such a young guy.

Iowa and Illinois had their individual tournaments last weekend. Our dual series starts tomorrow and finishes on Saturday.

Conference tournaments in college go off a week from this weekend. Your PAC used to be the only one to go off this weekend, which I like; more time to prep for Nationals.

I’ll have to tape every round of nationals to be on the safe side. That’s when I have my procedure, the first day of nationals. I can still follow the brackets if I’m held overnight.

College Wrestling and the BIG are back with a shortened season still ending in March as they always do, this year at St. Louis. ESPN does a good job there.

It was certainly different seeing the masks for everyone except those wrestling. BTN is carrying a lot of BIG and #1 Iowa, including this Friday 1/15 hosting #4 Nebraska, so I’m happy.

I searched ‘college wrestling sites’ and found great sites. InterMatwrestle is my favorite. Rankings are limited. D1 is up.

ACCN has a good dual just started with two top six programs — NC St and VA Tch — nice to see different styles from the BIG

On BTN tomorrow AM at 11:00 is #3 Penn State at #2 Michigan in a match rescheduled due to a Covid “pause”. Hoping for full lineups.
