For me it's his continuing to lie about leaving the scene of an accident until the Houston Chronicle produced the police report earlier this month, which O'Rourke then said was wrong.

You're both wrong. It's crossing the stage at a campaign event on a skateboard that demonstrated the whimsy missing in the U.S. Senate.
 
The only reason Ted will win is because he has an R behind his name.
 
Something to bear in mind about Beto. Even if he wins he is NOT going to be able to go much beyond the center. If his constituents want conservative votes on the issues he will not last long bucking the majority as a senator.

Agree for the most part, but surprisingly it is looking more and more like Cruz could actually end up losing.

That may be true but do you know what is acceptable as proof of US citizenship? All one needs to do is say you are a US citizen and sign that you are under perjury law. Therefore, if you say you are, you are. No paper work such as a birth certificate is required, so saith the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

But I'll have to disagree: Leaving the scene of an accident is a moral failure while skateboarding on stage is a failure of decorum and gravitas. ;)

I am certain you would not have dared present that the Democratic candidate has a record of leaving the scene of an accident unless you could prove it; so please prove it

You appear to have disregarded the fact that the candidate was never charged with attempting to leave the scene
Why would he have been charged with the illegal act of DWI but not be charged with the illegal act of leaving the scene if he actually did leave the scene

Exactly. There are many seats that fall into the margin of error that will swing Blue as a result of his candidacy. If he loses, Cornyn stands for re-election in 2020.
