An arrest warrant has been issued for the founder of a controversial 3D-printed gun company in connection to the alleged sexual assault of a minor, according to Texas authorities.

Suspect Cody Wilson, 30, owns Defense Distributed, which sells blueprints for producing plastic firearms using 3-D printers.

The alleged victim, an unnamed girl younger than 17, told a counselor she’d had sex with Wilson Aug. 15, 2018, in an Austin hotel before he paid her $500, according to the arrest warrant affidavit filed Wednesday in Travis County District Court.

Business must be good for Wilson to be able pony up $500 for some heavy breathing with an underage teen girl. With all the steers in TX, I would guess the expression 'horny' might be taken several different ways.

So he met a girl online. They agreed to meet and go to a hotel with the intent of having sex. He paid her. She then disclosed that she was underage to someone else. Did she ever disclose to Wilson that she was underage?

Trivia: O&G released in 1982; FMJ released in 1987. R.Lee Ermey was a technical advisor on O&G, so he was “stealing” his own lines......


Edit: I read that Ermey was looked at for technical advisor for FMJ as well; once they talked and RLE improvised he got the DI role.

I understand that Ermey was so much better than the guy they had playing the DI that Kubrick put him in that job. A total masterpiece resulted.

I suspect he was set up regardless. Someone paid her a lot more than $500.
