I support public unions 100%, even with their occasional abuse because one we start by attacking public unions private unions will be next. That is a dangerous precedent to even consider because unions give employees equal bargaining power and raise wages of the middle class.

This guy is not fit for the job and needs to be tossed. I cannot imagine that his cowkers would weould need to depend on him find him very trustworthy if it is their life he needs to save.
 
The guy was the school resource officer not Rambo.His duties were to oversee parking violations,make sure the bus got off on time.Warn students for running in the halls.Make sure the gay and lesbian kids had rights,monitor the transgender rest rooms and assist the high school rape counselor.

What Is the Job Description of a School Resource Officer? | Chron.com

Their duties include ensuring safety, arresting violent criminals, etc. Apparently HIS job description sad finish your sandwich and wait for someone else to handle things.

I repeated what was in the official report from Sandy Hook. If you don't like what they released, you should email them and share your expertise that shows how wrong they were.

Another example that the County Police are severely fffd up

From what I read in another article they had 180 days to fire him, they took 182 days - and that is what the arbitrator ruled on

There is no evidence that Miller effectively “directed resources” and no evidence he directed deputies toward the gunfire he heard upon his arrival on campus, the report said.

The union says that the department violated a 180-day clause to notify Miller of his termination. He was fired two days after the 180 days expired, which is in violation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, according to Mike Finesilver, the union’s attorney.

But that said I tend not to blame the police in situations like this. Despite the public perception, run of the mill police officers DO NOT have the level of training like a Hostage Rescue Team or SWAT unit has that enables them to rush into a throng of panicking people, pick out a gunman and shoot them without a high probability of killing or injuring innocent people.

Just goes to show that thers's literally nothing a conservative can't forgive a cop for doing.
Cop hides at the sound of gunfire. Shooter empties his weapon, drops it on the floor and goes down the street to grab a soda. Conservative says he doesn't blame cop.

Not what I said. I still think he should've been fired. Because trained or not he still didn't do things he could and should've done.

I dunno.

I can run into a engine room fire without a 2nd thought once I have the situation assessed. And I have done it a few times.

At the same time, I cannot handle sick children or animals. I'll break down before I do any good.

This cop shouldn't be there again.

Fact is there was, and in some departments still, a contain protocol and wait for trained entry professionals to make entry.

Your evidence that the police knew it was an "unarmed parent" is what? And why didn't you share it with the official investigators at the time they were investigating it?
