A Virginia correctional institute has apologized for strip-searching an 8-year-old girl as she was visiting her father at a state prison.

Diamond Peerman drove her boyfriend’s daughter to visit him in the Buckingham Correctional Center in Dillwyn, Va., on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. When the pair arrived, drug-sniffing dogs approached them, and guards told them that they had to submit to strip searches or they could be banned from visiting the prison, The Washington Post reported.

I sat next to an Air Marshall on a flight once & got to ask him a lot of questions, which he readily answered. Sticking pot up your butt is not going to mislead K-9 drug sniffing digs.

Hiding your pot in the underwear drawer gets dogs attention too.
Still, it needs to be looked into whether this is child molestation.

In Viet Nam it was not uncommon for women and children to approach our military with bombs hidden their clothes.

Dogs sniff something, you check it out.

Is there a source somewhere that can give any numbers of women and children who were forced to do this?

I know the Viet Cong were extremely brutal with the Vietnamese people but I have always wondered if this practice of strapping bombs to children was that common.

I have no idea. I'm just pointing out it happens.

The bottom line, if dogs find something, you check it out. If not, why bother with dogs?
