Florida principal who wouldn'''t call Holocaust '''factual''' event is fired

In a 2018 email to a parent, William Latson said not everyone believes the Holocaust happened and he couldn't say if it "is a factual, historical event."

The Florida high school principal who caused an uproar after he told a parent that some people don't believe the Holocaust happened and refused to acknowledge that it was a "factual, historical event" has been fired.

The Palm Beach County School Board voted Wednesday to terminate William Latson's employment at Spanish River Community High School in Boca Raton effective Nov. 21.

I'm surprised, in a way, that an apparently educated adult would have this distorted view about what happened in Nazi-occupied Europe during WW2. I'm even more surprised that this statement was made in such a heavily Jewish FL community.
 
1. It just shows how tone deaf (and arrogant) some people are.

2. You can think anything that you want (so far!), but you certainly cannot say anything that you want.

3. Everyday at school, at work, on the Internet, etc. we have to censor ourselves -- or else.

Nothing surprises me any longer, and you would be surprised to know how many believe it is all made up.
 
Perhaps it's time to ask our educators how many human genders there are and fire those who get it wrong. ;)

He did not say the Holocaust didn't happen. He said some people don't believe it happened, which is true in that some people don't.

Apparently it is now a strict legal requirement that every adult fully investigate the holocaust in depth and any American who doesn't must be fired from their job.

This is another example of the practices of the new progressive-fascist Democratic Party. Say what they demand you say or be destroyed. They are very absolute about that.

It would be helpful if progressive Democrats on the forum would post a list of all your bigotries and demographic groups of people that you hate and claim you are superior to on a forum about yourself.

But I agree you on one thing about Floridians. Absolutely no one in Florida is suitable for the Democratic Party and all should vote straight Republican in every election for every office.
