12 men charged with sexually assaulting two underage girls in case involving Alabama university | TheHill

A dozen men were arrested in for the alleged sexual assaults of two underage girls, with some of the attacks reportedly occurring on or near the Jacksonville State University campus and involving students at the school, Alabama authorities said Friday.

The alleged victims were between 12 and 16, according to Investigator Jay Harrington of the Calhoun-Cleburne Major Crimes Unit, CNN reported. The reported crimes took place earlier this year between January and September at or near the university.

I didn't think that rape & sodomy were part of the curriculum at this school. I wonder if those boys know the words to this traditional song of the South:

It says at least one of the girls lied about her age. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get ID and verify the photo. One mistake US States make on drivers licenses is to show the address. This might make some women hesitant to show their ID. National IDs in several other countries such as Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil and Colombia don't show addresses.

Without fail. If she won't show ID, move on to the next one. It's not worth it. Mexico does show addresses, so typically that is accommodated by only using rooming venues that require ID and charges a small fee for a visitor. The desk clerk will make a copy of her ID, inspect it and verify that she's not minor.
