Massive solar project gets local OK

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — One of the biggest planned solar farms in the country has been approved by local officials in Virginia to move forward.

Officials in Spotsylvania County recently voted to approve permits for a proposed 500-megawatt project.

This project is projected to power 110,000 homes.

I'm betting that this gets blocked by the Trump people because of its potential negative impact on the nearby coal industry in WVa.
