The Senate race between Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) and Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) is as close as it can be.

A new poll by the Public Opinion Research Lab at the University of North Florida (UNF) released Monday shows the two candidates tied at 45 percent, with 8 percent of respondents saying they were undecided.

Nelson is considered among the most vulnerable Senate Democrats up for reelection this year. Scott is 'drastically' out spending Nelson. This is one to watch with the backdrop of the algal bloom/corporate agriculture problem in FL.

Doesn't help that Trump is telling the GOP voters that there's a red wave coming. :lamo Sometimes he really shows himself to be a political novice.

I suppose he's doing it to cheer them up. Hopefully it'll backfire and make them overconfident.
