Why does Scott have to attend an Embassy opening in Israel? I'd be pissed if I were a Floridian paying for this.

It's bad enough Trump costs Florida taxpayers with his every weekend vacations at Mar-a-Lago.

From the looks of this board, you are p*** about everything that has to do with Trump - moving the Israel embassy included. :lol:

I don’t see the big deal. When I worked at embassies we used to get visits from state politicians all the time. More often than not it is a boondoggle but sometimes the networking can bring foreign business to their state.

I'm starting to get the notion that you're growing fond of Trump. Odd considering how Trump has gutted State.

I despise Trump. But I don’t automatically hate everything Trump does just because he is Trump. I judge each action based on its own merits. I oppose moving the embassy. But I don’t have an issue with governors atttending embassy openings.

And I wasn’t State. I worked in embassies but I was an Army officer working in embassies’ Defense Attaché Offices.
