[Florida] Florida capital moved to Miami

Well, the current location is really dumb. It would take much of the population 5-8 hours to drive there. That said, I don't support moving it to Miami.

Whose fault is if that they want to live in South Florida? Lol.

I have no real sympathy. The north end (and on the coast) is about all the heat and humidity I want to deal with. LOL...

It won’t happen of course. But does he realize Miami sucks? And realistically? The only 2 cities we WOULD or COULD move to is Orlando...which has contributed more to the state economy and been less of a drag on said economy than the **** hole that is Miami...or Jacksonville.

Not that I think Miami should be the new capital but Miami is actually experiencing growth.

Cities experience growth at the same rate as the rest of the population. Generally speaking people move to cities because they have more jobs (especially in certain fields). Miami is still a suck hole and should never represent Florida.

Tallahassee makes sense from a hurricane perspective. You wouldn't want the state capital in a area that needed to be evacuated.

Tallahickey is a nice city but a bit too much South Georgia for my tastes.

Moreover in another 15 years or so the rising sea levels will likely render parts of Miami underwater. They have had saltwater intrusion into wells 10 miles west of the coast for a number of years.
