Where is Roy Moore?

Yes, you were fed garbage. Swallowed it hook line and sinker from the RW swamp-fever. As I have seen you do over and over in all the years I have been here.

She never saw the judge. Likely didn't even know who he was.

The
Divorce
filing
was
DISMISSED.

They reconciled shortly after the initial filing.

They were never divorced in 1999.

Moore rubber stamped a perfunctory dismissal record.

That's it.

She would have no reason to even go into the courtroom. Would not even have a reason to see the rubber stamped dismissal.

Yes I am well aware the divorce was dismissed but it did make it to a filing and it was given a judge that would reside over it. That judge was Moore. Where was Ms. Nelson's request to change judges before it was dismissed?

Why would she need to change judges if she wasn't going to see him?

I never saw a judge in Alabama before I got my divorce. My lawyer took care of everything for me.

There was a judge assigned to your divorce and it was made known to you his name.

The same would have been done with Nelson. Later she dropped the divorce. But when given the name Roy Moore residing over her case in 1999 the same Roy Moore she claims sexually assaulted her at the age of 16 in 1979 yet did not request a change in judges prior to ultimately dropping the divorce. Just something else for the ethics committee to investigate further if Moore wins the election.

it was NOT known to me his or her name. I had no idea who he or she was, and didn't need to know. I got a phone call on December 31, 1987, from my lawyer, letting me know that the judge had signed my divorce a couple of days before, and it was official. She told me she would send me out copies after the first of the year.

Once I got those copies, I found out who my judge was.

So now we can't not only be upset about a pedophile running for Congress, we can't even question his whereabouts?

Look words up in the dictionary before using them incorrectly.

Days before the election Doug Jones is holding get out the vote rallies almost everywhere. Roy Moore is nowhere to be found.

Moore Absent on the Alabama Senate Campaign Trail

What a coward.

Moore is pulling an Hillary Clinton. He's only going on shows and giving interviews to those who support him. He is basically hiding from the media. Hillary did that very same thing, I heard she lost.

Although most folks in Alabama know exactly who Moore is. Jones isn't quite that lucky. So it does behoove Jones to get his name out there for recognition as much as possible. Good, bad or indifferent, Moore's name has been put forth to the folks of Alabama several times daily. Jones's name hasn't. How all this works out, we'll know come Wednesday morning.

It is traditionally a bad idea to not campaign until the end, but considering the man’s never-ending supply of bluster, I don’t know if you can ascribe anything to his lack of weekend campaigning other than questionable strategy.

You'd just rather they be molested by older men when they are teenagers.

Got it.

You have to understand some evangelicals in the bible belt or in this case Alabama. Abortion is to them their number one issue and probably the only issue they really care about. They view Jones and the democratic party as being baby killers, murderers of unborn children. Moore isn't perfect to them, but they will tell you that the allegations are just that allegations. Nothing proven one way or the other. Even if true, he is less of a devil than the baby killer, murderer of unborn children Jones.

That is their mindset. Like it or not, that is how a lot of them view their politics. As long as Moore or any other candidate for that matter is anti-abortion, they will vote for that candidate. To a lot of them, their only goal in their life is stopping abortion, abortion is the devil's work.

If Jones was pro-life, anti-abortion, with everything that has happened he probably would get 65% of the vote come Tuesday. Since he isn't, it pretty much a dead even race.

Thanks, Pero. You always seem to be the voice of reason.

And I agree. I spent many a formative years in Alabama, and I know full well what you mean. Sad, but true.

I don't have to make a convincing case. I'll leave that to the 9 women and 40+ people who verify the story.

I'll leave it to the voters. If he wins, you won't have to like it, LOL.

I wouldn't vote for a liberal like Jones. They don't make good decisions. Two examples:

I remember when the liberals went to place a 10% luxury tax on yacht sales ("get the rich"). What happened was the rich quit buying yachts so the yacht manufacturers lost all kinds of money and the little guy who helped build the yachts got laid off. So it wasn't "get the rich," it was the liberals screwing the little guy, again.

Another prime example: The do-gooders in San Francisco decided to give $400 'welfare' checks to homeless people. Help the poor, right? Well, next thing you know every bum in America (criminals too) began showing up in San Fran for a free ride. Crime goes up, the homeless are everywhere hitting on regular folks for money, etc., and the police tell the libs they have to stop the madness, which they eventually did. Another liberal disaster...

In Beverly Nelson's case Ms. Nelson in 1999 filed a divorce action against her then-husband, Mr. Harris. It was filed in Etowah County and the judge assigned was Roy S. Moore and the hearing had been set. She would have known at that time the judge assigned as it would have been placed on the court docket. There is no request from Nelson to have Moore recuse himself. Before the date of the trial Beverly Nelson which was Beverly Harris at the time dropped the divorce proceedings. She never went before Judge Moore.

The order of dismissal is on record at the Etowah County courthouse too. It is signed by Roy Moore. Next to his signature are the initials of his assistant at the time which were D.A.. The D.A. did not stand for District Atty. And that is how the signature appears in Beverly Nelson's yearbook with the initials D.A. after it. I believe this raises questions that further need investigated by a third party.

Another accuser the WaPo quoted turns out Roy Moore sent her brother to prison. And another accuser named was a teen mother that Judge Roy Moore at the time deemed her unfit and gave custody of her child to the teen's mother. There are court records on file that discredit part of Leigh Corfman's story, the one who claims she was 14 when Moore assaulted her. Like it or not these things do raise questions in regard to the allegations. And they need to be thoroughly investigated.

IF Moore wins he will be seated in the Senate but there are plenty of members on both sides of the aisle that will immediately call for an ethics investigation. Even the other sitting senator from Alabama Sen. Shelby (R) came out over the weekend and publicly stated he could not vote for Roy Moore. If Moore is innocent as he claims he will welcome such an investigation to clear his name. If the investigation proves he isn't then he will be removed from the Senate.

We still have quite a lot of them in Georgia also. I don't have a problem with them as I realize each individual has their own reason why they vote the way they do. I have mine, you, yours and everyone else, theirs. We might not agree with them as everyone views the world and politics through a different lens. It is what it is.

What a coward.

Moore will attend a “Drain the Swamp” rally in the southeast corner of the state Monday night. Former White House adviser Steve Bannon and Texas GOP Rep. Louie Gohmert are also expected to attend.

Steve Bannon - isn't he most of the swamp?
