I was listening to a talk radio station on my way home from work today and there was someone that they had on as a guest that was claiming that out of how many ever, I think he said about 1300, lobbyists in the state capitol there were, that only about 1/4 of them were actually from the state and the rest were vying for special interests from other places.

My first thought is why do we want lobbyists from other states here? Our priority should be our state.

Opinions?

Until we say otherwise, this is how it is done. And even when we do say otherwise, it is still how it is done. How much money do you have?

Not enough to matter.

no opinion.

my question would be....what do lobbyist outside of a state seek to achieve within the borders of another state.

but already we know the NFL, NBA, and the NCAA have worked to threaten the legislatures of states.
