The Bible's purpose isn't political so why would it emphasize, protest or rally for earthly laws?

HEre is a clue. The bible was NEVER meant to pertain to ALL things. The Nicene council determined what made it into the bible. And it wasnt GOD directing what got in. It was men.

Very few Christians seem to believe that Jesus is (now) dead.

Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:14 that, “if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.” Then in verses 17–19 he writes, “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.”

For those who quote Leviticus 18, do they obey all of Leviticus equally, that was meant to apply to Levite rabbis, or is it just the parts that they agree with that get quoted?
 
Gays doing stuff to each other are considered an abomination in the Bible.
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." Leviticus 18:22
"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." Leviticus 20:13

according to the bible tattoos are also a sin Leviticus 19:28,working on the sabbath Exodus 35:2,not allowed to eat cheeseburgers or anything with cheese Exodus 23:19,nor eating fat Leviticus 3:17.

Old teastament which christian theology states is superseded by the new testament. Only the jews are bound by those words not any christian.

Just to make the point. The idea by christians that gay marriage is not marriage can only be sustained by argument of omission. Jesus talks only of marriage by man and women and had said nothing about marriage by same sex. His discussion was with hetero people. We do not know what he might have said to gays.
