Game bombed over lesbians

Maybe people are upset by the recent supreme court decision, and looking for a way to vent their rage at the LGBT community.

why would they be full of rage about fellow citizens being treated equally? oh right.

Not in the US.

Who cares what you think. It's a tremendously popular game, and you and your homophobic ilk can't stop it.

Apparently you. You keep responding.

Lol homophobic gay people. That's funny.
You think LGBTQ people can't have anti-gay or anti-trans views? Damn, I've heard it all now! :lamo

I'm not sure that the game got reviewed-bombed for the reason people think. For starters, anyone who's played the prequel dlc for the first game would already know about Ellie's orientation. Also,In the base game, there's a gay supporting character. This isn't new.

A more substatial controversy would be Naughty Dog's gross exploitation of it's employees, but I suspect that most players are pissed about a painfully stupid decision made in regards to the narrative. The Last of Us is easily the best example of videogame storytelling, but **** this sequel, **** Naughty Dog, and **** whichever edgy writer thought it was a good idea to . . .

. . . I mean, I know it's a dark, bleak story, but was it really necessary to nuke everything that was endearing in the original?! Jesus H. Christ, I was looking forward to this, but now I wish they had left well enough alone.

What are you homophobic... Lol

I completed the game and the most graphic thing that happens is a few lesbian kisses.
There's a scene in the second half where heterosexual could get a bit frisky and have a bit of hanky panky but it's tame stuff.

I have no idea what all the fuss is about regarding the sexual content as it's mild at worst and the stuff even before the watershed (TV before 9 is considered family viewing and after 9 things get a bit more relaxed with regard to sex, violence and swearing. Just as a side note you can use the C word on UK tv after 9 o'clock which I'm told is a massive no-no in the US?) in the UK is more raunchy.

I'm not a fan of raunchy tv or games as a rule and this just wasn't a problem. There's a scene in a lovely house where the 2 ladies live with a baby and they kiss a few times but again nothing more than daytime TV level stuff.
