My 23 year old grandson, my daughters boy, confessed to us all today he is a heterosexual cisgender male.

What can be done for him?

OK, these are his words.

"As someone who is privileged in most dimensions of his life (white, heterosexual, cis-gender, middle-class) I cannot speak for black people. I cannot ever truly understand the extent to which systematic (and explicit) racism affect them."

My premise is that posters here never heard of cisgender previously and if they looked up the word probably are shocked.

Why would anyone be shocked that CISgender people exist? Do you also want to claim that LGBT people have never heard of heterosexuals?

For some reason that I cannot fathom, Rob seems shocked that we don't take his bull**** seriously. His injured virtue act is pretty funny, though.:mrgreen:

I take it very seriously because his almost constant intellectual face plants are hilarious.

Every time he speaks I imagine it coming from Floyd R. Turbo. Unless you are older and watched Johnny Carson you'll need to look up that reference.

That's what I mean, you assume they are a cis male, but they could equally be a cis female. All we know is that their nephew identifies as a cis male.

What needs to be done for him? As a middle class white hetero cis male with a family that loves him, I'm sure everything he needs is being attended to and then some.

I explained this to you. cisgender does not speak to homosexuality at all. If you understood the word, why divert?
