Why do so many women find it sexy for men to just make a move like that without respecting affirmative consent? Has Fifty Shades of Gray culture brainwashed women into thinking it's sexy for men to just make moves without explicit and clear consent?

I guarantee you if this guy has kissed some weird chick he's also kissed some more progressive-minded girl who only wishes to be kissed with permission. He's a creep who needs to be outed and face consequences of public shaming.

How she reacts to a stranger kissing her is her own business, I don't see why you care.

That being said, randomly kissing people in the age of coronavirus is just stupid.

No means No! Men should never force themselves on a woman. That said, women should not present themselves as available if they aren't. I've seen far too man women, married and single who dress to show off as much as they can. Too tight, too short, blouse cut way too low, push up bras, too much paint on their face. It's their right if they like but if you advertise you will get customers. This doesn't mean men should pressure women for sex, but there are plenty of women who use sex as a means to an end. Just saying.

Dressing in revealing clothing doesn't necessarily mean that you're available sexually. That may be the cultural connotation that you attach to such behavior, but there is no inherent connection. People in hot weather wear less clothing simply because it is more comfortable.

So a guy she's attracted to kisses her and she likes it?

Let's see what happens If I try to kiss her. I bet it doesn't go so well.

I mean it is okay to want to feel attractive and desired. For a man to be daring and confident can be incredibly sexy. It feels like we should be able to find ways to push those limits but learns how not to cross them.

I mean is a woman like her just supposed to deny what he finds attractive because other women wouldn't like the same thing?

It's the business of every decent person who cares about ending rape culture when some chick with a non-consentual displays of intimacy and affection fetish help promote the idea that this is okay.

Perhaps I just don't have as much contempt for women as you do. The idea that they are brainwashed by movies shows that you don't think they are that intelligent.

It was ridiculous for the guy to kiss her but she could have said no and pushed him away.

At that point, if he didnt, that would be completely wrong on his part.

But in the presence of other people, it wasnt a 'safety' issue for her, it was at most rude (until and unless she said stop)...and people can be exceedingly rude to other people in a sexual or non-sexual context and it's not illegal.

This is the barely coherent and grammatically inept speech of a man who desperately wants to be able to claim that he "cured coronavirus."

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

Some men and women are fortunate, they find balance with each other. Some not so fortunate. Determing balance for oneself, difficult enough, for others, indiscriminate howling. Behavior one finds rude and offensive, another finds alluring and desireable. Different strokes and all that.

So there are men who would feel the same way, be thrilled if a woman/girl they found attractive just interrupted whatever they were doing to kiss them.

And this isn't new. It has been going on for a while.

This rant kind of makes me think of the movie Back to the Future, how Marty's mom was lecturing him about girls who were too forward but then met his mom as a teenager, and she herself was very forward.

Women's Rape Fantasies: How Common? What Do They Mean? | Psychology Today

From 1973 through 2008, nine surveys of women's rape fantasies have been published. They show that about four in 10 women admit having them (31 to 57 percent) with a median frequency of about once a month. The actual prevalence of rape fantasies is probably higher because women may not feel comfortable admitting them.

For the latest report, in the Journal of Sex Research, psychologists at North Texas University asked 355 college women: How often have you fantasized being overpowered, forced, raped by a man or woman to have oral, vaginal, anal sex against your will?

Sixty-two percent said they'd had at least one such fantasy. But responses varied depending on the terminology used. When asked about being "overpowered by a man," 52 percent said they'd had that fantasy, the situation most typically depicted in women's romance fiction. But when the term was "rape," only 32 percent said they had had the fantasy. These findings are in the same ballpark as previous reports.

and those are the ones who admit it!

She met him earlier in the day, they had been talking and she had given him her phone number. He wasn't just some stranger roaming the park.

She obviously did not mind. In fact, she enjoyed it. This is normal healthy behavior between two people in my opinion. They are establishing a boy girl relationship. It may often be odd or clumsy but it is up to them to set the limits, not some uptight bunghole.

The real question is why anyone thinks they are entitled to push their morality on others?

Ah, thanks.

It's a setup. If you can't see that you're blind or stupid.
