Some people confuse it with the tingling one feels when a limb "wakes up" after going to sleep, or bashing one's funny bone, or gets goosebumps in the cold.
Now I don't know; medically, these things may be considered ASMR. But for me they don't remotely resemble ASMR. Not all tingles, shivers, and willies are made the same.
No that isn't what I'm talking about it is the precise response that's described When I Look up the definition of ASMR. I just don't necessarily get the euphoria from it.
I definitely don't derive contentment or happiness from it outside of a fleeting moment like an orgasm.
