Are sluts relationship impaired?

I'm not talking about judgement nor "shaming". I'm talking about the objective risk of men falling into failed relationships. Or more specifically, the risk of being stuck with a decade or more of child support, parental alienation, substantial loss of assets, the distraction of a failed relationship to career building, etc. What kind of women represent a higher risk to young men regarding the above-mentioned casualties?

The problem with your question is that there is no objective criteria for what makes one a slut (which is not limited to women, BTW). A person who is selective about their partners, but still has 4, 5, or more in a given time period, may seems a slut to some, but tame to others. For that matter, for some, a monogamous woman who enjoys and looks forward to sex is a slut.

Given that we ourselves are both open and poly, it certainly wouldn't be based on number of partners. Cheating, abusive behavior, consistent selfish behavior....these are the red flags that would have me tell my kids (again these things are not limited to any gender) to rethink and reevaluate.

Because even when they are adults, one should care if one's children are on a path that will **** up their life. One thing my wife and I agree on: Do everything in one's power to prevent your son from marrying a Cubana that still lives in Cuba. They are great playthings but as treacherous as hell.

What about anything you just described there means a woman is a slut? Isnt a slut just ( a derogatory term for) someone that some people judge because they choose to enjoy sex with a variety of partners? Much like many men?

I have seen too many guys get burned that way. Guys like us run into each other at bed and breakfasts and tourist restaurants. It's a cool place to compare notes, hazards, experiences, prices, expectations, etc. It seems to be the Communism that ruins them. On YouTube search for a video by Master Secrets entitled "Los Cubanos son unos INTERESADOS!!??" (Are Cubans self serving). He hits the nail right on the head.

Guys get burned by being stupid enough to invest a ton of money then getting dumped. Be smart; rent her by the day.

Have you heard the expression "A word to the wise is sufficient"? There is a certain way to manage being with a Cubana. It just boils down to being realistic about their nature. One asked me for $500 using a hard luck story. I decided not to bother with her. If I had, I would have explained that if she wanted $500, she would need to give me the best three weeks of my life and be on-point each and every day. The reply is generally "What do you want me to do?" Essentially she needs to be a combination of a doting mistress and knowledgeable tour guide.

There's one chica that practically begs me to stay in touch with her. I told her I would see her on my next trip if she communicates a good plan to enjoy places in the Sierra Maestra mountains. She assured me that she will see to it that I have the time of my life in more ways than one.

Why does a woman need to be a slut to do that? Sluts dont ask for money. You are very very familiar with prostitutes...it's all about transactions with you and also with them...maybe that is why you relate so closely to prostitutes. Except they do it to make a living, to survive...you treat all your relationships like that. It's disturbing. But it certainly does explain why you emotionally connect so well with hookers...you are very much the same.

But if you must use derogatory, hypocritical (double standard) terms, sluts just enjoy sex with multiple partners. So maybe in your examples he's the only one stupid enough to get taken, maybe he's such a weak individual he cannot get her respect and she does so and dumps him. Nothing in your example discusses multiple partners.

Men take advantage of women all the time...esp. in places where you travel, they impregnate women and dump them. And then they criticize them for getting abortions :roll:

It's really sad that you believe your experience of needing to spend 'tons of $$' on women to have a relationship...with hookers or with your wife, as you've described...must be used by all other men. Or that you believe that's what they do.

Most men have no problems having a relationship, even while dating, without spending 'tons of $$.'

If you have to 'spend tons of $$' to have a relationship:

A) she's not worth your time (and you deserve what you get if you dont dump her)
B) you are a loser using the wrong methods and social skills to meet and get to know a woman
