A reporter in Savannah, Georgia, was groped on live television when a runner participating in the annual Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run smacked her behind while jogging past her live shot on Saturday.

Alexandrea Bozarjian, a reporter with WSAV — an NBC News affiliate — was covering the race, in which participants run across the Talmadge Bridge, when the incident occurred.

Well, I wouldn’t call this grouping - the guy just slapped her butt.
The look on her face was hilarious, though! I watched the video several times.

From what I gather they identified the guy who did it. I hope he won’t be subjected to persecution on social media. After all, he just slapped her butt.
My wife says this happens quite often.
Any thoughts?

Charge him with assault and battery.

A feel nights in jail getting unwanted slaps on the butt should teach him a lesson on how it feels

That wasn't groping, that was assault and battery.

Apparently, it's up to the reporter if she wants to press charges. I suggest she do so.

I also think her network should pay for her legal fees, since she was working for them at the time. That way she won't be inclined to sue them for putting her in harm's way.

I don’t agree.
Look up pictures of Rihanna after she had an argument with Chris Brown. Now that would be real assault and battery.
What this guy did is petty hooliganism, something worth at most $200 fine + public apology.

I guarantee that if a random man grabbed your ass in the street you wouldn’t be laughing it off so easily.

I’m a man and has been slapped on my butt too.
Never thought it was that big of a deal. Certainly not something worth to go to cops for.

It's sexual harassment.

I guessed you were male which was why I deliberately spoke about another man grabbing your ass. And I didn’t suggest you’d call the cops, I suggested you wouldn’t laugh it off. I’ve seen far too many men who are dismissive of (and contribute to) sexual harassment of women but very suddenly turn vocally aggressive or even violent at the idea of a man doing the same to them. If you can cut through the testosterone-fuelled red mist, it can serve as a revelation. Unfortunately, some people are beyond help.

That and a public shaming as he goes to court.

What if the slap was to her face? Not any harder, just a different location. Does that change your opinion? Does where one strikes another make a difference as to whether it is an assault or not?

That would be assault.

I believe it would be sexual battery under Georgia law. That's what was on the police report too.

You are correct. It will be interesting to see how he tries to get out of it. I mean, I know he apologized and everything, but that is like an abuser saying they are sorry after beating someone up in many respects. It doesn't take away what he did. I suspect he only did that because it was live, and recorded.

The woman who was attacked has filed sexual battery charges against the Boy Scout Leader/Christian Youth Group leader who assaulted her. My guess is he will plead out to community service and a fine....maybe even have his name added to the sex offender registry....meaning no more Boy Scout and Christian Youth group fun for him.

He only apologized because he got caught. I’m doubt this is the first time he’s done sexually inappropriate things. Maybe women or boys from his Church or Boy Scout troop will come forward.

That's what i said "I suspect he only did that because he was live and record" (the that is the apology).

The penalty for sexual battery in Georgia is up to a year in prison, and a 5K fine. I bet it will be probation... and a heavy fine. Georgia is still the 'Boys will be boys' mentality to a large degree.

In the army, if a male soldier touched a female soldier, he was charged with rape.
So if you were going to be charged with, you might as well do it.

That's false, sick and supporting rape as if it's a thing that a normal person can just decide to do.

Nope it's the truth

In the army, you're charged with an offense number - the military police have charge numbers for murder, impersonating an officer, insubordination etc
They also have a number for interfering with a regimental mascot. I mean the MPs would think up a charge number unless someone had actually done it would they ?

I was in the army. 82nd Airborne, infantry. You're completely full of crap and promoting rape.

I was in the army too, 21st intelligence company of the 3rd MI battalion.

And what I said was true.

You're promoting rape as a solution to male-victimhood.

It doesn't get any lower.

You're basically saying, "rape women to get them back for the victimhood they impose upon us."

That's full-blown pro-rape red-pill.

Or. you know, they could keep their hands to themselves. Crazy concept, I know.
