On the not so funny side: Whenever "modern feminism" is mentioned in other than developing, inclusiveness and otherwise improvement terms, that's a giant red flag. The person is attempting to divorce their hate of feminism from the conversation. They pretend to support "historical feminists" as if the philosophy has fundamentally changed. They argue that "modern feminism" is a scam against men. These are the same crowd that argued feminism was a scam until that became untenable.

That's quite a long piece, but in a way it kind of encapsulates the evolving meaning of 'feminism' since the modern movement began in the Seventies. It used to mean gender equality; now it seems to imply gender superiority, with women being the superior ones.

About a year ago I became acquainted with a word I never knew existed: misandry. Essentially, it's the opposite of misogyny. I've always known there were female sexists, since intolerance is sadly endemic to human nature. But to discover there's actually a term for it is strangely liberating in that it implies a greater acknowledgement of something I've always known was there.

I don't know your age; but I'm old enough to clearly remember when the modern feminist movement got underway in the Seventies......yet young enough to still be closely in touch with how the issue is advanced and debated currently.
