Deranged leftist PC child abuse

Re: Beg to differ

So 11 isn't a child?

I'd consider it preteen or tween.

They are capable of making decisions or explaining how they feel.

Re: Beg to differ

And I would disagree with it.

Except if medical necessity grounds could be shown.

You've heard from others on this thread who think these treatments are necessary to keep these children from growing into their birth gender.

This 7 year old expressed his feelings to someone.

In the real world, people are children until they are past the age of majority.

The long term prognosis, both physically and emotionally, is much better of this condition is addressed while they are teens rather than later until later in life. Ignoring the condition until they are adults results in depression, anxiety, addictions and in some cased PTSD.

At what age were you capable of knowing what your gender was? Do you think that these children don't know that there is a problem, or are you convinced that it will just go away if you don't talk about it and address the problem? Somehow you have been convinced that medication is being given to children, despite the fact to the contrary. What conservative source is telling you that the claimed medical transition is occurring in the case of an 8-year-old child?

The mother in this case spoke to that GENECIS company about treatments. That's in the court records.

She has to clear whatever future treatments with the father if she choses to go that route.

The father cannot deny treatment if thee Drs feel that it is in the child's best interest, but likewise, the mother cannot force treatment either. This child is not a pet to be fought over in the divorce proceedings.

GENESIS isn't a company. It is a gender treatment clinic in the Dallas Children's hospital and they do not do that. They follow standard pediatric endocrinological guidelines. Blockers don't begin until the age of 12 and they are often later. Hormones start at 13-14 depending on the individual case. Surgery isn't considered until the patient is 17 and usually 18. This is explained in detailed links on the clinic's website.

The source that you are referring to (LifeSiteNews) is a far-right religious blog.

LifeSiteNews - Media Bias/Fact Check

Re: Beg to differ

About | LifeSite

LifeSite News (and The Texan) attended the court hearing. It also provided a PDF of Judge Cook's ruling. You can't really criticize this...except that you have in another thread: https://www.debatepolitics.com/brea...-james-younger-against-30.html#post1070847560

This is all that I need to know about LifeSiteNews. They admit to having a strong evangelical Christian bias. They have been known to edit source materials to further their beliefs.

I'll stick to the BBC and other respected sources that have a professional penchant for facts and don't have an agenda to push.

A factual search reveals that the BBC has never failed a fact check.

2. LifeSiteNews.com emphasizes the social worth of traditional Judeo-Christian principles but is also respectful of all authentic religions and cultures that esteem life, family and universal norms of morality.

3. LifeSiteNews.com’s writers and its founders, have come to understand that respect for life and family are endangered by an international conflict. That conflict is between radically opposed views of the worth and dignity of every human life and of family life and community. It has been caused by secularists attempting to eliminate Christian morality and natural law principles which are seen as the primary obstacles to implementing their new world order.

4. LifeSiteNews.com understands that abortion, euthanasia, cloning, homosexuality and all other moral, life and family issues are all interconnected in an international conflict affecting all nations, even at the most local levels. LifeSiteNews attempts to provide its readers with the big picture and the most useful and up-to-date information on this conflict.

It is a matter of personal choice.

A fully independent choice couldn't, IMO, be made before the age of 18.

For the sakes of others with your refined scholarly sensibilities, why not provide an alternative link from a source acceptable to you to the actual court proceedings?

The BBC is unimpeachable truth.

Auntie BeeB is without flaw.

Thank you. I have an HD radio just so I can listen to the 24h BBC would news feed. I can listen to the BBC/NPR for 45 minutes and be confident that I am aware of what is happening in the world without someone's attempt to spin the facts.

I have posted this multiple times but it isn't the facts that they want to hear.

When I was in Vietnam and Cambodia I used a small tranny with long wave reception to stay in touch.

I also watch the BBC news on BBC America.

The Daily Mail also prints lots of news stories on-line:

I recently found out that you can buy IRN BRU off Amazon. I'm still reduced to smuggling when it comes to Paracetamol though.

I have this. https://www.amazon.com/AudioVox-IHD...t=&hvlocphy=9015520&hvtargid=pla-571462659097

I wish there was an HD radio app for Android.

I don't often read the Daily Mail but I do read the UK Independent.

The DailyMail.co.uk is more user friendly I think with a lot of Royal stories you have to ignore. It also has juicy gossip stories.

When I'm in Cyprus it's the paper I always buy.

I lament the day the Times went subscription only (great sports pages)

There's a General Election next month and the BeeB isn't covering it much yet....on the night though I'll be glued to the BBC live.
