Teacher Sues School District for Firing Him Over His Use of a Trans Pronoun.

I am just sick of the Marxist left imposing its perversion on decent people like this teacher. He apparently called a trans student a pronoun "her" in accordance with her birth gender. She complained, and the cowardly school board fired the teacher. Now's he's suing. Good for him. I hope he sues the hell out of them and wins. I am SICK of Christian values being infringed upon every single minute by the far left radicals, whose ultimate goal, is the downfall of this country which would enable the few Marxists to take control and enrich themselves casting the populus into poverty and imprisonment.

See, the far left was stuck on gay rights for years. Then with the gay marriage ruling by the Supreme Court, they got everything they had ever wanted and more. But of course it was never about helping gays, or the activism would have ended there. No, it's about pushing a divisive agenda, so then they moved on to trans issues. Now they will seek to divide us according to this perversion. And if they win.....will they stop there? Hell no. They will move on to some other God-knows-what deeper level of perversion to push.

Imagine how unthinkable this crazy story would have been 30 years ago. It just shows how far the radical perverse Marxist influence has gotten. At some point, we have to stand up and overthrow ALL of this garbage. We need a reversal of the gay marriage ruling. We need a rollback of perversion.

Bad things happen to civilizations who embrace perversion. Consider the AIDS epidemic but a warning. Think Sodom and Gomorrah if we continue. "And the exploding meteor, with heat approaching that of the sun, incinerated Sodom and everything in it. Indeed the soil became so toxic, nothing grew there for 600 years."

I pray America has an enormous spiritual awakening before God decides He has had quite enough.

An interesting case. The SCOTUS has yet to address how religious expression rights and civil rights intersect in much of the LGBTQ world. My guess/hope is that it will ultimately decide that religious rights cannot violate civil rights. In other words, just as places of public accommodation cannot discriminate against people based on their color, religion, ethnicity, etc., they should also be prohibited discriminating based on sexual orientation and gender identity. If the terms "sex" and "gender" do not already legally apply to those characteristics, then the federal and the states' anti-discrimination statutes should be amended.

Taken separately from the legal context, though, this teacher is just an asshole. He has to refer to the student by some pronoun. If the student selects "him" over "her", then who is the teacher to harmfully discriminate? In other words, what is the measure of damage to the teacher by verbalizing "him" rather than "her" versus the measure of damage to the student by being referred to as "her" rather than "him"? I think the student's mental wellbeing suffers more than the teacher's religious preferences. Is it enough to be fired? It is if the employer enforces policies to that effect and if the courts agree with the school board.

An analogy occurs to me. The name Matthew is biblical and appears on a lot of birth certificates (just like "female" presumably appears on the student's). A lot of Matthews call themselves Matt. If the teacher insists on calling Matt by his full, given, Bible-inspired name, does he deserve to be fired? Maybe not, but if the student and the student's parents and the school's administrators instruct the teacher on multiple occasions to call Matthew Matt and he obstinately refuses, then he's a prick, at the very least. Religion has been used as a weapon for most of human history, but whenever religious bigots decided they were constitutionally enabled to treat minorities like **** is when they fundamentally destroyed the foundations of their faiths. I imagine that the teacher will just go farther out of his way to demean transgender people after this incident, but at least he'll be doing it from the unemployment line.
