The problem with the elderly woman I'm referring to who was assaulted by leftists for refusing to make a cake for a homosexual wedding was not opposing making cakes for homosexuals. She had made cakes for the homosexual man before and there was no problem. But what she refused to do was make a cake with homosexual lovers depicted on top in a wedding. She kindly asked the men to get another bakery of the many in the city to do that because she felt as a Christian she could not.

Please post a link to this assault because I've never heard of it. if the cake was actually indecent then she would have an exemption, just like any other person. The fact that two people of the same gender are on top of the cake doesn't make it indecent. She is just a religious bigot. Jesus told his followers not to do that in Luke 6:31 and Matthew 7:21, so why are you disobeying the Gospels if you claim to be a Christian?

Nobody is asking you to think of a different way because your support or agreement with others is irrelevant. Nobody is trying to dictate what you believe just because you cannot discriminate against them in a public business that you voluntarily chose to open and operate. Your religious beliefs do not give you permission to dictate the actions of others.

Don't open a business if you cannot abide by the law because your beliefs do not exempt you from obeying the law. Your supported religious exemption would create a theocracy if anyone can claim that they have a religious belief that exempts them from obeying secular law. Prayer is illogical because in 2nd Corinthians it teaches that he has a plan for your life. I had to walk around offering mini-beef wellingtons, goat cheese with pistachios and cranberries, and baked salmon croquettes at parties, special events, fundraisers for people and causes that I would never endorse or want to be associated with.

I was being paid to service an event. I had bills, it was a job, I just can't take the notion seriously that when I was passing out chocolate drizzled hazelnut truffles to the elderly ladies at a luncheon hosted by The Daughters of the Confederacy that it would mean I also supported their cause or whatever else they were gathered there for that afternoon.
