You can't change a person's sexuality by socialization or by education.
Not even for the undeveloped minds of grade school students.
Learning that gay people exist will not make them gay.
Teaching them to respect everyone is right.
Telling them that gays are not less than or that being gay is to be ashamed of and not talked about is wrong.
The ones who are gay will grow up with healthy self esteem
and the straight ones will not think to discriminate.
Then it's just no big deal to anyone
and nobody has to fight to feel right
and nobody is in anyone else's face.
The gay ones are going to be gay even if Billy Graham raised them.
The straight ones will be straight
even if they were to be raised by non-binary drag queens living together in a communal apartment above a gay bar.
