Limit Sexual Thrill Seeking to 4 Weeks per Year

I will, I will she sighed to my request
And then she tossed her mane while my resolve was put to the test
Then drowned in desire, our souls on fire
I lead the way to the funeral pyre
And without a thought of the consequence
I gave in to my decadence
One slip, and down the hole we fall
It seems to take no time at all
A momentary lapse of reason
That binds a life for life
A small regret, you won't forget,
There'll be no sleep in here tonight

Where did you read that younger generations are having less sex because of phone addiction? It sounds like you just regurgitated some prejudicial nonsense about people whose lives you likely know little about.

And I will take whatever disposition towards you that I see fit.

Why are you so rude?

Phones are ruining Americans' sex lives

I'll accept your apology now.

As some of you can tell, I enjoy some quite unusual things. However, after awhile it becomes more of a vice and the thrill dissipates with the law of diminishing returns kicking in. Whether your thrill is porn, whores, sex tourism, BDSM or something else, it has been my experience that reliving past adventures or planning new ones gives way more satisfaction than the vices themselves. When your desire for sexual thrills exceeds your desire to feel rested with plenty of sleep, you're off in the weeds.

Bringing my wife along on my last two trips has been a bonanza. It's especially helpful when she reminds me that "you're just doing this to be doing it and you're not experiencing a thrill". We then plan something else. The balance makes things 100 times more enjoyable. If not for my wife, I wouldn't have taken time and money to experience things like San Andres, Monserrate, Zipaquira, etc.

If you're spending more than 4 weeks per year on sexual thrill seeking, it's probably too much.

Addiction control.

It also has to do with recognizing what one's spouse can psychologically take. I risked my marriage and got essentially what I wanted. There's a time to stop pushing one's luck.

YKINMK. (Do an internet search if you don't know what that means.)

I have to google it. If I get hit by a bus later, will my family be embarrassed by my search history when they reclaim my laptop in my estate?

(Also the reason I'm afraid to google how white supremacists rationalize their beliefs. I could never do that to my family!)

Whatever comes your way ought to be your significant others happiness.
Obviously. But not everyone is in committed monogamous relationships, and my statement also applied to sexual activity within one's relationship. My post was in general. Life's too short ...

I know. It was a double entendre.

YKINMK = "Your kink is not my kink." I.e. the sexual things one person likes are not the same as others.

If someone can avoid screwing up their lives from knowing my experiences, it's a win. I live by the idea of "quit while you're ahead".
I can respect that, and thank you for sharing.

We're all unique with unique situations, but I very much give you kudos for sharing your personal experience. In life, we need all the data points we can muster. But then in the end, we must follow our hearts and guts ...

Exceptions for (comic book?) superheroes are noted.

You’ve got me confused which fictional characters am I supposed to take advice from and which should I ignore

Fair question - ignore those talking about their own super powers and pay attention to those noting reality.

I wonder if people sometimes use the term sex addiction to justify whoring around.

Hell if I know. What I can tell you is that MY 4 weeks are up for 2019. It's time to find satisfaction with something else. I just haven't figured out what that something else is yet.
