Sigh! On the first part of the trip, the other women "warmed me up", then I had intercourse with my wife. When I decided to go off on my own and have intercourse with other women, my wife said that I put her in a position where she had to protect her health. Stop being obtuse.

I got a vasectomy. I had a scare with a Cubana back in 2017 and got a vasectomy immediately after. I have to give the chica mentioned in the OP credit. She didn't leave me guessing. My wife was actually quite pissed off about that little adventure, probably for exactly the reason you state. Diseases can generally be cured, a sexual adventure can be forgotten. However, developing an attachment runs the risk of being replaced, or so my wife says.

Yeah, it was earlier this month in Colombia. My wife has a kind of deal when we travel: She gets luxury while she to a limited extent lets me enjoy other women. That little adventure was "over the limit".

My wife and I have somewhat of a transactional relationship. I consider her a sexual asset and she considers me a financial asset. We agree to not say anything that would cause our sons to lose respect for us.

When I do something that might cause attachment to another woman, she feels the need to not tolerate this threat to her interests.

Some people who are HIV positive and/or other STDs believe they have no obligation towards others under the belief that everyone has to look out for themselves. Some may even get a thrill out of infecting others.

I'll go for the fantasy part. The whole persona this user is building up, is too bizarre and far-fetched to be real, especially considering the wife's part. HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and syphilis are sexually transmitted diseases that are too serious and with life-threatening consequences to imagine that someone, especially the wife, would put up with this lifestyle for decades. The guy claims he is a thrill seeker and diseases can be cured. Well, HIV can't, some cases of Hepatitis B become chronic and then there is no cure (and it becomes a risk factor for liver cancer), and while Hep C can be cured, the months-long treatment is onerous and full of side effects, and depending on the virus sub-type, can fail. Latent and tertiary syphilis can be cured but can lead to irreversible damage (such as, to the central nervous system). Not to forget that HPV can expose the wife to risk of cervical cancer. It is true that Hep B and HPV have available vaccines. Still...

Anyone leading this lifestyle of frequent unprotected sex with Third World prostitutes for decades would be infected by now with one or multiple serious STDs, some of them irreversible, and the wife would be at an extreme level of risk.

About my post above - it is true that Hep C transmission through sex is low, and is estimated at 2.5% over twenty years of behaviors conducive to exposure. But there is no vaccine against it. I've mentioned the serious ones above, and of course there is also the curable but annoying ones, chlamydia, genital warts, gonorrhea, molluscum, pubic lice, scabies, and trichomoniasis, not to forget also incurable genital herpes.

I would say that's obvious, whether one admits it or not. The main reason I stay monogamous while married is exactly that. I'd like for her to stay that way too.

She had an offer on one of the boat excursions she took alone while I was out playing. She turned it down. She seems to get some kind of satisfaction out of reminding me how superior she is to me. I can't stand intoxicated women. It's an ice cold turn off. If you look for them, you can find women that live in squalor and will gladly not go near intoxicants in exchange for enjoying marble floors and room service.

This is especially true among Cubans in Cuba and Venezuelan refugees. Some of them even have a year or two of university. I only want women that are intellectually and psychologically all there.

I find it more interesting to stay in touch and discover how she has successfully rebuilt her life. However, that's beyond my wife's already generous limits. What's particularly sad about Cuba is that any success in building up one's life is smacked down by the government, it's socially unjust not to be as equally miserable as everyone else. However many Colombians and Venezuelans are aware that their bodies are not going to be sought after forever and plan accordingly. One Colombian chick was already second year in college and another Venezuelan was saving to buy a hot dog cart.
