Males with beards have smaller testicles: study

It just ain’t so, I’ve a beard and my nuts at last visit measured 27 mm and weighed 5 metric tons...apiece!
Let me guess, they're made out of brass too, amirite?

If you get old enough, there is a constant danger of sitting on one or both.....

I never cease to be amazed at the things I learn on this site.

Who cares if you have small or big balls. Smaller would be better, less chance of sitting on them, squishing them between your legs, less of a target for a nut shot.

I really couldn't tell you how my testicles compare to an average.

I guess I'm easily amused, because all I can say is, this dumb article about this study had me laughing for a good portion of the morning.

So they're comparing humans to other primates again. *face palm*

Last time I checked, human males don't wave their naked balls around displaying power.

The other thing is that testicle size has no correlation to testosterone production in healthy males.

This study has so many flawed parameters I could write my own paper on it.

Depending on what fraternity you have joined

Lol

Lol I don't take things like this seriously.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! If we had permission, I guarantee you a LOT of guys would wave their prongs around in public in a hot second.

Come on, laugh...it's funny. :lamo

I would like to know exactly what percentage of women out there actually give testicle size any consideration or thought at all????

I gotta believe the number is so low that it's mathematically insignificant.

I'd assume that if asked to make a list of 100 things women actually care about regarding a potential mate, that testicle size wouldn't even be a consideration.

Whereas for many women, facial hair is absolutely a definite turn-on or turn-off.

So yeah, given the options I'd gladly pick smaller berries for the ability to grow a full and luxurious beard/mustache.

As far as I know, beards are inherently attractive because they're a sign of high testosterone in men. Women are generally drawn by that because it suggests the man has a good sex drive and can probably reproduce. While this isn't always true, I feel that it usually is. Men who don't grow much facial hair seem less driven than the ones that do. In fact, I think studies show that strenuous exercise and physical work can encourage facial hair growth - I used to work in construction and it's a hairy man's haven. So it makes sense that beards would be sign as a sign of male vitality.

Then again, maybe these men with the thick beards (either letting them grow out naturally or doing as much physical work to stimulate growth) are doing so to compensate for a smaller ball size haha

The claim is absurd. Hair is dead. So there is no more "energy" required to have a beard. A study based upon primates who do not shave has no relevancy.

Tex, you are overthinking this........imo.

Yes. IMO, (and probably the study's ?) the beard is overcompensation for being a grower and not a show-er? I had a beard until I was 50 because I (still do) look so young. If you believe that....
