Silly Times Demand Silly Questions

Let me get this straight, no pun intended. You're gay and dictating, no pun intended, to straight men how they must relate sexually to women, yes? And at the risk of legal consequences, no less!

How would you like straight men dictating to you how to be properly homosexual?

Anyway, the political scat echoed in your post is strewn with the talking points of third-wave feminism, which has smoked America with DDT over the last thirty years and damn near killed off all the birds and the bees.

Notice how you (and the feminist ventriloquists on whose knees you sit) conflate saying and doing in the following bit of scatology taken from your post?

Bad faith and hate-mongering, that's what your second-hand views are all about.

My homosexuality has ZERO to do with the topic at hand. I am concerned with how women are treated.

The only bad faith I see is you not giving a **** how your actions affect others. You want to do what you want to do and have zero consequences as a result. That's not how the world works anymore. Get with the times or be lost in obscurity.

As for straight men telling me how to be homosexual? Even if they did, I wouldn't give a **** because I have enough confidence in myself to ignore stupidity.

The vast majority don't give a damn about the PC and SJW crap the MSM and Democratic Party constantly pushes to try to generate as much social division and hatred as possible.

OH NOEZ THOSE DAMN SJWS RUINING MUH COMICS AND MOVIES AND MUSIC AND AND AND. I can't take anyone seriously that sits here and uses SJW unironically.

I feel exactly the same way you do, and so I quote you: "As for [gay] men telling me how to be heterosexual? Even if they did, I wouldn't give a **** because I have enough confidence in myself to ignore stupidity."

As for your strident straw man:

All I can say, courting a pun, is "Stuff it!"

Then why you here arguing with me? If you think you're ok to start catcalling women, get out there and catcall! Let us know how that goes for you! Hopefully one day you'll be arrested for doing much more than a single catcall.

People have this fallacious argument that because I'm gay I can't have an opinion on straight people. Guess what - you people have opinions on my being gay, so turnabout is fair play. Stop using the ****ing appeal to authority fallacy (I, as a gay guy, can't KNOW ANYTHING about straight people because I'm not straight. I have no authority and how dare I speak about straight relationships!). Guess what, people (no one on this board) made my lifestyle and even marriage at one point, illegal. If straight people have the right to CREATE LAWS around my life, then I get to spout off.

Oh that's right, you're one of the MRA people. I forgot. Dismissed.

Imagine if the Men's Rights Movement had been as persistently politicized and deranged as third-wave feminism and today we were discussing -- as seriously as we discuss the topic in this thread -- whether provocative attire by women, if offensive to politicized men, is "sexual harassment" of men!

Oh there absolutely is a double standard. is that the whole thing believe all women which means don't believe any men if they're accused.

There were the gummies that actually went to federal government and lied to the Supreme Court Justice committee to try and stop Brett Kavanaugh from being elected what would have never happened if it was a female nominee.

so absolutely feminism holds a double standard. if it wasn't for double standards they wouldn't have any standards at all

You answer your own question, Cannonball. I'm "here arguing with" you because you "get to spout off" in a forum like this. I wasn't aware of your existence until yesterday when you quoted and replied to me. Your sexual life is of no interest to me whatever, but your opinion on my sexual life, when that opinion is both uninformed and thrust in my face, is of passing interest to me.

You asked the questions, sir. I just answered them. Don't get pissy with me when you pose a question and I throw an answer back at you that you don't like.

And how am I commenting on your sexual life? Am I talking about your favorite sexual positions? No? Then I'm not talking about your sexual life. Unless the only sex you can get is sexually harassing women. Then, well.... Sorry about your luck I guess?

You didn't just answer the questions in the OP; you editorialized:
...

Good to see straight men on this board up in arms about their lost, precious ability to sexually harass others. Boo. ****in. Hoo.

Why is it so hard for men to understand that women don't want you leering at them, no matter how scantily clad they're dressed? Jesus ****. "OH NOEZ I CANT CATCALL A WOMAN!" Good. You shouldn't be able to. Keep your nose in your work, not up her skirt.

The pissiness was introduced by you there in your first reply.

This was followed up by your introducing your sexual tastes into the conversation:

... but men should ****ing stop thinking with their dicks. That might help the whole ****ing world.

I say that as someone who REALLY likes dick, both my own and other dudes'.
...

And now you're becoming increasingly personal in your posts. Don't you think that the prudent thing to do at this point is to agree to disagree and go our separate ways?

I'm down. See ya!

And by "vast majority" I take it you mean of men and women both, yes?
Has the PC clamor and SJW campus nonsense died down in the past couple years, or have I just tuned out of that cultural noise?

Interesting thread. Leads to a lot of thought. Having spent many years in the corporate world I have seen the meaning of sexual harassment change greatly. My first impression is, if women didn't want to be looked at why do the wear tight fitting, revealing outfits. I mean if wearing something like a mini skirt isn't advertising, what is?

Second, I have found that it is only improper if someone you don't like is the ogler. If the handsome 30 year old with big muscles is give a girl the eye she has no problem. If the 60 year old fat guy is eyeing her over it is creepy.

Third, there needs to be limits. However, some are always looking for an excuse to be the victim. This is especially true among women and gays. In the cube world that most offices have become there is little privacy. I have had a woman complain that a guy was always looking at her. Only to determine her work station was in the line of sight from his. Every time he looked up he was looking at her. However, common sense is taken out of the equation in such matters. The only solution was to move one of them and of course it had to be the man otherwise I would be seen as punishing the woman. The sad part is the guy is not automatically considered a pervert and in need of constant supervision. I have also had complaints from women because some manager used coarse language while talking over the phone. In reality, women will carp about small problems that men blow off.

This type of behavior is damaging the ability of women to be promoted. Myself and many of the senior managers I worked with avoided hiring women for just this reason. It is hard to get your real work done when you have to spend half your day baby sitting or dealing with HR because someone makes someone else uncomfortable.

When you've been victimized and told you're less than human, you tend to fight back. #sorrynotsorry

What does Catharine Alice MacKinnon think of this?

What are little girls made of?
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice
And everything nice
That's what little girls are made of
What Are Little Boys Made Of? - Wikipedia

What will Catharine Alice MacKinnon get you to think of that?

That is the question.

Because there's nothing too silly for third-wave feminism and its flunkies!

God Bless America!

People from all sorts of backgrounds are victimized and all sorts of ways for just about every race and you can imagine by the people who are supposed to love them the most.

The empathy should extend equally. Because everyone is a person. Why you were victimized by whom and how should not elevate you or lower you in importance.

Picking groups deserve more empathy based on how you arrange them politically is not the way it should be considered.

Right on, Clax. The politicization of victimization over the last forty years has demeaned the concept of victimization. It's the fable of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" played out on a broad cultural canvas. A most unfortunate development.

I find it insulting a bit personally. I'm not victimized. I'm just a normal guy. I know some people are over it but that isn't unique to gay people.

Who is the victim? The woman who perceives someone is looking at her or the man who was forced to relocate and labeled a perv because of it?

I don't buy your victim syndrome. I'll same my sympathy for real victims.

Good for you. Want a cookie or what?

If you're a "regular guy" then I guess you've never been victimized, which means you literally have no concept of what it means to be victimized. If you have been, share. Not all of us think only of ourselves as victims. Victims are all around us and come from every walk of life. I am concerned with making sure victimization is minimized as much as possible. If that means a few false-starts in the beginning on our journey to a more healthy society, then we'll work them out as they come.

I've said it in other threads and I'm saying it here - the time of straight white men ruling everything is coming to an end. If that makes you a victim, then welcome to our world. If it doesn't, then you'll never get it.

Hahah that went off swimmingly.

I'm satisfied with its progress. My mistake was to post it in a non-political forum, but almost everyone who is replying stridently to the OP is making the point of the OP unwittingly.

I have in my past worked with people who were truly victimized I married a person that has been utterly victimized do you know what they all have in common? They hate being seen as victims. they don't want you to tell them that you're sorry for the things that they went through. They typically want to be treated like everyone else. they don't want special attention given to the things that happen to them because those are not their accomplishments. It's something that happens to them that they couldn't help.

I don't think you're victimized by straight white men I don't think you're victimized at all victims don't brag about it true victims don't treat it like it's something they deserve a cookie for.

I find this concept you're presenting is belittling to real victims.

Also LOL

What part of my post indicates that I'm feeling such a way?

Man, you people on here really aren't the friendly-joking sorts are you? I've gotta keep that in mind. I frequently throw in personal (either of us) little jokes here and there. Sometimes they're a terrible stab at humor (I'll throw this one on that pile) and sometimes they're actually great. (gay porn, men make more, etc). I can have a knock down drag out fight with any of you on here and turn around the next day and send a private message making sure you're ok if I knew of something heavier going on in your life.

I'm here to have fun. I love to debate. I'm an ENTP so I even sometimes debate **** I don't believe just so I can understand the other side. I'll check my humor at the door.

My apologies. It is very difficult to tell if something is a joke or not simply by the text you type.

I sincerely apologise for misunderstand. I personally appreciate levity.

That's good. Glad to see you don't take this personally, that certainly isn't my intent.

No, please don't. That was my mistake.
