This is what happens when one starts with a conclusion ("men are victims") and seeks out narratives to support that conclusion.

Single motherhood is definitely glorified in the mainstream progressive culture. It tends to be a prominent theme in entertainment or cinema, and always attracts a "you go go girl! Strong independent women ftw!" type response.

In reality most single mothers (especially in the black community) have equally themselves to blame for their terrible burden. Don't have sex, or at least only have it with men who have their **** together and clearly aren't just after a quick release from you. Do that, and it's very unlikely you'll find yourself raising kids alone. Of course the progressives hate that reasoning as it pushes for personal responsibility.

It's easier to just do stupid things and them blame the orange man for not wanting to clean the mess for them.

I see we're now attacking single mothers. My question, where are the dick's that got the women pregnant? That personal responsibility thing, I love me a fetus thing from the right. Where's that from dick? It's all the females fault. I wonder if this kind of thinking has anything to do with women deserting the GOP?

Do you really not know the answer to this already? It's because any healthy, semi-decent looking woman can have her pick of 90% of men out there. Men don't turn down sex. If you offer it to them they're built to take it. It's the woman's fault for offering it to a broke, irresponsible dumbass.

Also, it's generally much easier for a woman to control her sexual desires than for a man. Testosterone, hormones etc etc. Unprotected sex usually happens during wild encounters which I agree both are equally guilty for, but it's a lot easier for the woman to stop and be sensible than it is for the man.

Unbelievable. What ever happened to the conservative idea of personal responsibility? Blame women for the fact that most men think through their sausages until they hit about sixty. I can only presume personal responsibility has turned into I'm the victim.

This isn't about victimhood. Society is geared to give women greater power in the sex game. That's just the way it is. Women can afford to be picky, it's her fault for picking the deadbeat through the ocean of legitimate alternatives.

Does that absolve the deadbeat of blame? Of course not. But biology has it that he can walk away without the consequence of pregnancy. The woman can't, and she knew that going in.

Personal responsibility looks like this - the deadbeats will go thru life strapped for cash and start begging the government for free money so they can continue to live their deadbeat lifestyle. Luckily we have the GOP to tell them to go **** yourself, at which point they'll be forced to get a job and hopefully realize their ****ty life choices. The woman will want to abort and we have the GOP to tell her not so fast, that's your innocent child in there. She'll potentially have to crawl through hell and back to raise her daughter correctly, at which point she'll no doubt teach her not to make the same stupid mistakes she did by sleeping around with losers.

Let that run for long enough and the deadbeats will go extinct from not getting any, and the women will be better off. It's almost perfect if it wasn't for the Dems touting free welfare and abortions for all, which only encourages the same vicious cycle. Your party is the problem.

I'm trying to improve my outlook, so would you mind pointing out which part exactly you find reprehensible (it was a slightly long post).

Is it the part about thinking children shouldn't be killed, deadbeats shouldn't get free money, or was it the suggestion that women should take steps to find the best possible mating partners that bothered you most?

No men are perpetrators of all sorts of crimes likely men who grew up without a father. Society at large is the victim. To deny the value of a functional whole-home family is to deny reality.

Okay. So I checked the link you provided. Aside from its religious foundation, I found nothing within it which measured mothers as being terrible, much less they were being glorified for being terrible. I was looking for source data to match your claim.

How about you read before you respond to my posts. I said that men are perpetrators not victims. I don't know if glorified is the right word for single mothers but they are certainly celebrated.
