I have just returned from the website "Politico," which all politics buffs know is NOT a Republican mouthpiece.

I have just read an article (the title of which is in my thread title) by James Kirchick.

He explains how both Democrats and Republicans have demonized gay people for political purposes over the years.

He ends his article by referring to the "McCarthyism of the [Democratic Party's] 'Resistance.' "



I thought that some members/guests would find the article informative. (I don't know how to link. Sorry.)

Agreed. The biggest example they have is that Chelsea Handler said some **** about Lindsay Graham. Even if democrats have ****ed us over a little bit, overall the democrats have been FAR better to us than the republicans ever have.
