Yes, I have done so. I've been speaking in generalizations, however I believer those generalizations are accurate. I do understand the industry, its reach, its lack of honesty by all parties. I understand no one is independent and survives. Sure, there are the neighborhood single mom's who act temporarily, but are not true professionals, but they don't represent most of those in the industry, and they stop once they encounter a violent client.
This conversation pertained to teenage prostitutes, and like all threads took its twists and turns. It is a very rare situation to find a teenage prostitute working free and clear of a pimp. Someone turned her out to the life, a predator. In general, for purpose of discussion, specifics beyond the visible norm, won't change the overall realities of teenage prostitution nor prostitution for any age group.
No one growing says or thinks "I want to be a prostitute."
