The length of a person's fingers could provide a clue to their sexuality, with women whose ring fingers are longer than their index digits more likely to be lesbian, a study has suggested.
Researchers at Essex University looked at sets of identical twins where one of the siblings was heterosexual.
They found that the homosexual twin tended to have a greater difference between the length of their index and ring finger, with the difference most pronounced among women.

There are several subforums in which you could have created this thread and, seeing it there, I'd have thought you were being droll, facetious or risible about the article/topic you've referenced in your OP, and, in turn, I'd have thought the OP funny....
But you put this thread in one of the substantive political discussion subforums, Sex and Sexuality.

Moreover, you haven't included any editorial commentary of your own in the OP. All you've done is quote an article from the science section of Daily Mail and provide a link to it. Even your thread title is lifted verbatim, down even to the capitalization, from the rubric article's headline. From that, it's clear Daily Mail takes the story seriously and, your failure to post any remotely jocular remarks of your own does not suggest you've taken/presented the matter or the article's content in any way other than seriously.

Yes. I am now a lesbian.
My ring finger is longer than my index finger.

They said once you could tell by looking at the length of fingers if a person was really a male or female.
They said this was definite proof, but I forgot the details.

As a sailor, I had other ways.
If they were much prettier that the other local girls
If they were a bit ..too...aggressive.
If they did not want me to pay them.
In the Orient, you can't go by voice. Some sound exactly like women.
...and if i found out any other way, I would never admit it in a thousand years to anyone. Thank God those other methods worked 100%.
