Multiple DP members lament that prostitutes are looked down upon. Well, then let's drop the stigma and address people who strive to be the best at what they do. If a prostitute takes pride in her work and wants to be the best at what she does, what should she focus on?

That could encompass lots of things such as showing up on time, being reasonably priced, not demanding all the payment upfront, being sexually uninhibited, making the client feel important, being a good listener, not being a clock watcher, giving a great massage, being discreet, good hygiene, how she dressed, looks, nice skin, nice body among other things.
 
Business classes. Understanding how to identify the best market and maximize returns is probably what makes a good prostitute. There is a reason why some escorts make thousands from a single client and others barely scrape by even when they are very attractive and skilled. Your service is worth what you can convince others that they are willing to pay for it.

The best earn the most by keeping their mouth shut and being discrete. Stormy Daniels may be famous but she doesn't earn a tenth what the high class gals earn.

The best pro is one you do not know is working. Back in the day, we used to set up GM buyers with one of those. It was all fun and games until one of the guys left his wife for the hook and then killed himself after finding out the truth. :(

There is a fallacy here, but the name is slipping my mind.

Here's the question to you. Would you hire a prostitute the opposite of your sexual orientation? Doubtful. Just because a person would hire a prostitute in general, does not mean there are not certain ones they would not. I would not hire a male prostitute, unless maybe I am getting him as a surprise for my wife or girlfriend. And no I would not hire my daughter, even as I support her in her job selection.

I think that a good sex worker is someone who is NOT ashamed of her (or his) work.

Sex workers are perfectly legitimate in many countries. (I think that Germany extends certain worker rights to them.)

She/he is providing a necessary service to men or women in need of such help.


She/he should be proud of her/his work so long as she/he is honest and free of disease.

I am guessing that some countries that allow legal sex work have lower rates of sexual crimes.
