So we all know Mike Pence is no fan of the LBGTQ community. The Pence wrote a children's book about their family pet bunny, "Marlon Bundo" (which I actually think is an awesome name for a bunny).

So John Oliver decided to parody Pence's book writing his own book, where Marlon Bundo meets and marries another male bunny. Oliver's book immediately shot to #1 on Amazon, creating a huge backlog in orders.

Apparently book sales for both author's are doing quite well. Since proceeds for both books are going to charity, I think this is a good thing, even though I'm not a huge fan of Pence.

Damn, I ought to write my own parodies and cash in on all this ... but I hate copying someone else's work, just saying.

Sounds like a Colbert move. Colbert was genius at that stuff.
I still laugh every time I see Americone Dream ice cream at the grocery store.

At least we still have Colbert for late night. Jon Stewart was a huge loss. The two hosts they have trying to fill both Colbert and Stewarts' shoes on Comedy Central just can't do it.

Well John Oliver is actually quite funny I generally don't agree with his politics but the man is funny. I don't get that from Trevor Noah Steve Colbert has his moments.

Yeah. Trevor Noah is funny in his own right, but I've found his standup comedy to be more his strongpoint. But let's face it, nobody was going to fill Stewart's shoes.

For political humor like Stewart used to do, my favorite now is Seth Meyers. Some of their bits crack me up. When you have the chance check out one of Meyer's "Bad Sponsor" bits on youtube. :)
