You have no evidence for that statement. Even MRA groups only claim one in three of domestic violence victims are men, and that includes male children facing domestic violence from fathers.
Men should be heroes. What's the point in being a man if you're just going to be whiny, useless bitch? Men hold the vast majority of power in society (I know you're going to go into more MRA crap to say that's not true, but it is), men are leaders in politics, business and science. Even in personal relationships, men usually hold economic and physical power. And as Uncle Ben said, with great power comes great responsibility, and you see the results of what happens when men don't take responsibility for their power. Men commit the most crimes, the most drug offenses, men commit suicide more, drop out of school more, and murder women at a far greater rate. The men that do all this are men that don't find responsibility for something greater, are men that aren't being heroes.
This reads like a 3rd wave feminist's college dissertation- 'men are supposed to sacrifice and do all of the hard work in order to create prosperity for their families, as well as society. But we're not going to give them any credit for doing the hard work, instead we're going to complain that they hold all the power, abuse that power, and we'll judge all men as being potential rapists or sexists. We also demand that they share the fruits of their labor with women, and devote their tax dollars to fund programs that will put women into positions over men.'
