Anyone in San Antonio for the 2018 Pride Parade?

"LGBT" is a relic of the fringe counter-culture 1960s, and will be a non-entity in the coming future, so enjoy it while it lasts. I'm sure it will always "exist" in some odd capacity, much like Scientology, or any other idiosyncratic sect that has historically. And I'm sure "homosexual" behavior, will always exist much as it does in less evolved species - but when the minority of disaffected individuals attempting to turn die off, whether early from disease, or evolutionary from non-reproduction it will be extinct as far as culture and society is concerned, as much as disco is.

If individuals who have been brainwashed into the cult and its fictitious "identity" merely to fill some void in a meaningless life wish to escape "persecution" - then leaving the cult and the self-marginalization that it naturally entails, and assimilating into healthy society would be the best option.

I certainly pity any children who've been trapped in such a diseased environment via the ruse of same-sex adoption or in-vitro fertilzation, and hope they have a way out, given the "LGBT" cult's open admiration of NAMBLA and other pro-pedophila organizations, which is well documented by research.
Yes well, we wouldn't need this if there wasn't hate and ignorance in society.

I've been to the parade twice and I don't want to go back I have straight friends begging me to go with them but I don't want to go I don't see it's point. It's like Mardi Gras. I understand the history I know why it's significant but it seems to have outlived its usefulness. The last time I went and saw the parade it was mostly big commercial companies running floats through the streets and I get that it's okay with them that people are gay or lesbian or bisexual or transgender. I think it's generally okay with everyone aside from a few wacko Bible Thumpers.

So I don't get the point

I've never been in a parade, and raising awareness and batting back ignorance is important.

I dont like them. Too many people, I don't really get it. I only went to see sexy guys. But alas it isn't worth it any more.

lol, well I'm not there for the sexy guys, I assure you. Evidently there will be a"sufer nu-wave" themed float though... whatever. Like 120 or so floats/groups, should be fun.

So what about individuals like Harry Hay who was an LGBT Pride Rally leader in the 1990s and defended NAMBLA's admission?

If pride rallies are about just about defending "rights" then why do they have sympathy to disgusting individuals who support molestation of children?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Hay

Hay joined several other early gay rights activists in protesting the exclusion of the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) from participation in LGBT social movements, most noticeably pride parades on the grounds that such exclusions pandered to heterosexual-dominated society.

Well, I can't answer for him, but I would be very adverse to someone like that showing up, NAMBLA is evil in my book, and I would lobby for their exclusion.

Meh, not for me. Have fun though.

I don't like crowds either, but as I'm late to the parade, lol as it were, I'll get in my fun and see if this is my scene or not.

well it's really positive. But the ones in Houston are so big they are really quite impersonal. Avoid afterparties unless that is your thing.

I'm actually going to try to get us in the Houston Next year. It was a fight to get approval to do San Antonio as some folks felt there wouldn't be the on ground support. HA I SHOWED THEM.

True story, I have never been to a gay club/party.

well clubs are just like any other except you'll see men dancing with men occasionally straight women are the majority in three clubs.

Parties... be careful... some are not what you would expect.

I promise, I won't be attending any. We have to take my son home after the parade and I'll be tuckered from being part of the organizing and getting everything "juuuuust Right".
