Why is sex worshipped by the ungodly?

Most ungodly people elevate "sex" to a sacred status especially in the Western media - which is very much like a beast such as a dog or a cow, which has no understanding of pleasures beyond eating, sleeping, and sex.

I think this is because when one does not understand the pleasure that comes from serving God, then one has no meaning in their life other than to live like a beast.

If God was worshiped by Westerners instead of sex, then maybe there would not be so much evil in the world, since if one has the morality of an animal, then there is no reason not to commit rape, murder, homosexuality and other animalistic vices as well.

Sex is simply an enjoyable experience shared between two people for both mutual pleasure and deep social bonding. For some odd reason the deeply devout religious create an issue around sex and Islamic men in particular have what seems to me a terribly flawed understanding centered around male dominance and female subjugation. If indeed your God has decided we must choose between him and partner bonding (Love) he is as confused as you are and not much of a God...actually something of a prick. Though I might suggest evaluating your own view of sexuality and women I know how unlikely it would be in the culture and faith you dwell within.

I'm sorry it is a religions that have made it sacred and worship it. It is religion that has created a bunch of rituals surrounding it and a bunch of rules on how you must engage in it and when you must engage in it and with who.
